it seems like the chloe buisness is coming to an end...i ask why?

it's been boring and pointless, no character has developed and nothing as changed really...

... why can't they contine it to a trial, paid for by ian of course, giving sonia, martin, pauline and margaret (hope thats the name of rebecca's nan) the chance to give off some real emotion in a dramtic performance

we all know Natalie Cassidy can do dramatic performance better than most, so give her an oppurnuity for the girl to shine?

if it hasn't ended does anyone know what is in store for little Rebclo/Chlecca (as the fowlers should rename her lol)

I used to have nothing against Pauline, but she's really started getting on my nerves recently. It would be good for them to have a trial to settle this whole thing.

I really wish they would develop this story a bit more. And it would be nice to see Sonia and Martin get custody of Rebecca as well. If they don't get custody of her it's like the whole storylines been a waste of time. Anyone agree?

i agree... the storyline should have been about Sonia adn Martin... how they dealt with it... whether they'd decided to fight for her... Rebecca's Gran's reaction... it's centered on Pauline and it shouldn't be... their Rebacca's parent's so it should focus on them... and what they were doing... now it's boring and no one cares about the storyline... ANOTHER wasted opportunity...

I don't thinks it's over but unless they are going to progress with the storyline quicker I think people will lose interest. Anyone who has read the new spoilers will know that Sonia agrees to go and say goodbye to Rebecca with Pauline. I don't think it will be left at that because it would be pointless. And from what I've heard they are planning to have a custody battle in June or July, a law is supposed to change. I don't know the details, I heard about this a long time ago.

I don't agree. I think the point to this storyline is to show that when you give a child up for adoption then you lose all rights to that child. I comes out later that Pauline is made aware of this and she visits Rebecca one last time. Its the law and neither Pauline, Sonia or Martin have any right to the child...

I don't agree with that. It was pointed out 2/3 years ago that when a child is given up for adoption the natural parents lose all rights. The point of this story so far, is to show that adoption isn't an easy option. It isn't as some people believe, a case of giving up a child and forgetting all about them and moving on. It is an option but it comes at a very heavy price. This child hasn't been forgotten and Sonia seriously regrets her decision.

But I don't agree that it is a pointless story if Sonia doesn't get Rebecca back. I think there is a lot of issue here and it would have been to fairytale if Sonia got her back... I think Eastender are shown a very very valid point in regards to the whole regret Sonia is having

I really hope they stop this storyline straight away. Not only is it stupid but it's also distressing for people who have been given up for adoption themselves. Eastenders out to think a bit more carefully about how to present emotive issues such as this without letting them descend into farce.

This has never been a stupid storyline as it shows the effects adoption can have afterwards. As for it being distressing for people who have been given up for adoption, most storylines will affect someone. It depends on what has happened in their lives. Lots of people were up in arms over Zoe casually terminating her pregnancy, especially woman who had miscarried. There is always something. EE have done this quite well, showing how it can have long term effects and it certainly hasn't descended into a farce.

According to the soap mags, Pauline goes to see Chloe one last time and walks away so it looks like this is the last of it.
