Sunday Night Project hosts Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr want George Michael to appear as a celebrity host on the show.
Collins told DS that the veteran popstar had been approached by producers twice, but had snubbed their advances.
"Both me and Al would really love George Michael to do it," he said. "He's been asked more than once, but he won't do it."
The comedian claimed that Michael was still angry with the show for producing a skit that sent him up.
"I think it's because we had a sketch, which I remember well, which featured a George Michael lookalike," he commented.
"I don't know if this is true, but we've heard that he didn't take too kindly to it. But we would desperately love him to do it."
Collins also said that he would love Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears to guest on the programme in the future.
Previous celebrity hosts include Mariah Carey, David Tennant, Kanye West, Katie Price, Michael Barrymore and Gordon Ramsay.
