Don't know who gets to the final, hopefully Alex, JLS and meh Eoghan?
I reckon Alex should sing with Beyonce, JLS with Take That, Eoghan with Boyzone. And if Diana is there then ermmmm maybe Take That?

cant say im that bothered who wins now that the brilliant Ruth has left, but out of the three remaining i'd prefer JLS, time for a band to win.
Either JLS or Alex. I think JLS would probably do the best out of the lot of them, because even though Alex is amazing, she is so similar to Leona in her style.

I don't think Alex is like Leona.. I see her more like Beyonce... she can do the pop songs the Leona wasn't great at...
DUFFY is in talks to join a star-packed X Factor final with Beyonce, Boyzone and Seal.
The Welsh singer, 24, rose to fame only this year but bosses of the ITV1 talent show want her to perform on Saturday night.
Each of the finalists — Eoghan Quigg, JLS and Alexandra Burke — will sing with one of the big-name acts.
The Sun can reveal Beyonce may perform hit song Irreplaceable with Alexandra — who has already sung her hit Listen on the show.
Reformed “manband” Boyzone — managed by X Factor judge Louis Walsh — have also signed up. And so has Seal, 45, who was seen on ITV2’s Xtra Factor giving the wannabe stars his tips.
X Factor chiefs were anxiously waiting for the final decision from Beyonce, 27
A show insider said last night: “We are crossing our fingers. It will be a one-up on the BBC, who had Beyonce on last month.
“We always like to do things a bit bigger and better than Strictly!”
Kylie Minogue did a song on last year’s final show with winner Leon Jackson, while opera star Katherine Jenkins sang a duet with Rhydian and Same Difference performed alongside Jason Donovan.
Yesterday the finalists went home to see friends and family — and will spend the week staying at a secret location.
They have been sharing a home in North London for the past few months, but are being put up in luxury accommodation complete with a butler until the final on Saturday.
:cheer: :cheer: This will be so good :D

Take That have sensationally pulled out of The X Factor final — after hearing that old rivals Boyzone are on the bill.
Their move plunged the ITV1 show into chaos last night.
Desperate efforts were being made to book another act for Saturday’ s finale.
A source said: “Take That are huge fans of X Factor, especially Gary Barlow. He feels a real affinity with the show and loves encouraging new talent. When they heard Boyzone were on the bill they decided not to do it. It’s really upset the schedule.”
After Take That discovered Boyzone’s fellow Irish crooners Westlife were also lined-up, they dug their heels in even further.
Beyonce, Seal and Duffy will sing with the finalists. Show supremo Simon Cowell yesterday publicly backed Alexandra Burke, 20, to win. She heads JLS and Eoghan Quigg in our online poll.
More than 12,000 votes have been cast — with 49 per cent for Alex.
Nooooo :( why did Take that pull out! :( Is not fair
X Factor chiefs are convinced Britain’s top reality TV show is the victim of a spiralling dirty tricks campaign.
They believe there is a vendetta aimed at nobbling the ITV1 talent show and spoiling Saturday’s big final for 13m fans.
Show bosses fear the concerted campaign is being masterminded by a jealous former contestant or their family in league with a disgruntled show insider.
Producers have been horrified by a steady stream of damaging leaks and false stories about the judges and contestants.
Now they have launched a huge security investigation to discover the person responsible.
The smear tactics include:
Leaking of confidential contracts signed by all the finalists.
Highly-sensitive voting patterns being leaked onto the internet.
False reports of bust-ups between the judges and contestants.
Simon Cowell’s car being bugged.
Untrue reports that Take That had snubbed the final because Boyzone were also scheduled to appear.
Britney Spears facing a barrage of criticism over her so-called backstage demands.
A steady drip of untrue stories about hopefuls including Diana Vickers, Alexandra Burke, Rachel Hylton and Daniel Evans.
Unfounded accusations that the show was “rigged” to save Diana Vickers at the expense of Laura White.
An internet campaign which saw 50,000 “fans” criticise the show and demand Laura be reinstated.
And previous winner Leon Jackson has joined in the criticism, blasting the judges for creating more stories about themselves and stealing the limelight from the acts.
The 19-year-old Scottish singer, who won the fourth season of the hit TV talent show, said: “I think it gets clouded a bit these days when the judges are having their confrontations.
“It should be more about the acts, in my opinion.”
All the negative stories and leaks threaten to overshadow the most keenly-contested final ever between Eoghan Quigg, 16, Alexandra Burke, 20, and boy band JLS.
A highly-placed X Factor source said last night: “Frankly, we’ve been horrified at the vicious nature of these leaks and false stories.
“Some of these go way beyond the normal sort of stuff which comes out about the show. These have been highly vindictive and very damaging.
“We believe there is a concerted bid to nobble the show and try to tarnish it.
“There’s also been leaks about voting patterns and contracts – obviously some of this information is so sensitive it can only have come from someone with an intimate knowledge of the show.
“We believe it could be an employee with a grudge who is feeding this stuff to the people behind the campaign.
“It could be a contestant who didn’t go as far as they thought they should – or their relations – might have an axe to grind We believe we know who it is – we’re gathering the proof before exposing them.
“Much of the claims about the bust-ups between the judges are not based on any truth at all.”
Take That were last night “fuming” at the false reports they had pulled out of Saturday’s final.
A spokesman said: “We’ve no idea where this report came from. Take That were never asked to appear.”
A show spokeswoman said: “X Factor is the biggest show on TV – it’s inevitable that some people will hate us.
Daily Star
JLS will team up with Rihanna on this Saturday's X Factor final, according to The Mirror.
The group will perform the star's hit single 'Umbrella' with her.
A show insider is quoted as saying: "They are thrilled to be working with Rihanna. It is a massive coup. She has an incredibly wide fanbase which is bound to help pull votes.
"The feeling is that Rihanna’s backing is the clincher.
"Even Simon Cowell has admitted they could win. He views them as an increasingly profitable asset."
Fellow finalists Alexandra Burke and Eoghan Quigg will also perform duets. Burke will team up with Westlife while Eoghan has Boyzone.
Bookies last night slashed the odds on JLS winning to 7-2.

Louis Walsh has revealed some of the song choices and duets for the X Factor final
Speaking to Radio 1, Walsh hinted that Westlife will be performing with JLS and Boyzone will team up with Eoghan, while Beyoncé will be singing with Alexandra.
In an interview with RTE Radio, he also revealed the festive tracks the contestants will be covering.
"Alexander is going to do 'Silent Night', the boys are gonna do 'Oh Holy Night' or 'Last Christmas', and Eoghan is going to do the Wizard song, 'I Wish it Could be Christmas Every Day'," he said.
Walsh also said that one contestant will exit the show in the first half, before the final two perform the winner's single 'Hallelujah'.
"That is going to be the big single," he said. "Everybody has recorded it, so whoever the final two are, they're going to sing it in the second half."

Alexandra is going to do amazing with 'Silent Night'. I think JLS's version of Umbrella was their best performance yet so I'm glad they'll be singing that again.. I hope they duet with Rihanna though - that would be great.
Hmmm Eoghan doing 'I wish it could be christmas everyday' im not too sure

Can't wait for tonight, it's going to be the best X Factor final ever IMO and the closest too! I want JLS to win because they have good personalities and I can see myself listening to their music. Eoghan is the least talented. Alex is good but I don't want her to win because she is similar to Leona and it's about time a group won X Factor. This is just my opinion :D
Cant beleive Eoghan has to sing with Boyzone. How come he gets that crap band.
Dont like Beyonce but she has a lot of fans who win now get into Alex' corner.
I think Westlife are good but i wouldnt put them with JLS. I would say JLS need a female to sing with them and Rihanna would have been great.
I wanted Eoghan to win but if the stupid show have made him sing with Boyzone i think he has no chance.
You know what i cant be bothered with this show anymore. Its been obvious from the beggining that they were gunna make one of Cheryls win the competition.

Its been obvious from the beggining that they were gunna make one of Cheryls win the competition.
I thought that from the very beginning when they were telling the judges which groups they were going to mentor. All the hype about Cheryl Cole being the biggest thing on TV now is So annoying
Cant wait until tonight, Im babysitting tonight so I might not be here to discuss it :( They have a mac and they say I can go on it, but Im not sure how to work it :p
Cant wait until tonight, Im babysitting tonight so I might not be here to discuss it :( They have a mac and they say I can go on it, but Im not sure how to work it :p
just use the safari browser on the mac Abbie, then it's pretty much the same as internet explorer.
and for everyone who thinks the show is rigged, how can it be? at the end of the day it's all down to the viewers vote, and the viewers aren't voting for Alexandra becuase of her being Cheryl's act, but becuase she has an amazing voice - far better than JLS and Eoughan in my opinion.
at the end of the day the only reason Cheryl's acts have done well is becuase they were damn good singers. Laura is getting a recording contract, as I'm sure Diana will, and Alexandra will be receiving her 1 million pound record contract later this evening.
i'm not defending cheryl here, but the fact that people can say it's rigged is just silly.

Hmmm Eoghan doing 'I wish it could be christmas everyday' im not too sure
it's because its a upbeat song, meaning they can put a load of backing singers and dancers behind him to once again hide the fact that HE CANNOT SING NEARLY AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE!

ahahha, i love the way Simon stopped supporting Eoghan about 2 weeks ago! and this so isn't his favourite song of the series.
if Alex doesn't win i think we will have a riot on our hands...
Is Eoghen scared to get onto the stage by himself? So many other backing dancers on with him again

Alex blows Leona Lewis out of the water! she is so passionate and emotive, pleeeease let her win! and as much as i resent them using that song for X-factor at least Alex does a good job of it, i really felt what she was singing.
I think they have marketed Alex to the same fashion as Leona, she has the same body movements and does the warbling like Leona and Beyonce. They are really going into competition with each other, imo.

Aww I so wanted JLS to win :(
Alexandra is brilliant... but it's all the same to me. Leona, Beyonce and now Alexandra.
I just think JLS would've been kind of fresh on the scene... they'll get a recording contract anyways, no doubt about that, and I'll be buying their stuff! :)
Both versions of Hallelujah were amazing though fair play!
Eoghan Quigg tonight became the tenth act to depart X Factor.
The 16-year-old singer managed to avoid the bottom two in the opening weeks of the competition and made his way to the live final.
Quigg began the competition with performances of 'Imagine' by John Lennon, Michael Jackson's 'Ben' and a well-received cover of Nat King Cole's 'L-O-V-E'.
The Irish hopeful was never criticised by any of the judges until week eight and was praised highly by Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole in particular.
He covered Barry Manilow's 'Could It Be Magic' in week four and followed it up with a version of 'Anytime You Need A Friend' for Mariah Carey week. His performances of 'One More Try' and a barnstorming 'Never Forget' were also received warmly.
Quigg's effort at covering Britney Spears's 'Sometimes' found him in trouble with the judges, but with a huge High School Musical production his rendition of 'We're All In This Together' won the judges back on his side.
Througout the contestants' time in their shared lodgings, Eoghan's relationship with ninth reject Diana Vickers was the subject of several press reports, and the 16-year-old reacted emotionally when she was voted out in the ninth live show.
Eoghan finished third in the competition. He performed High School Musical's 'We're All In This Together', 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day' and joined Boyzone in a rendition of 'Picture Of You' before being voted out in the final.
ITV/Rex Features
Boyband JLS emerged as the X Factor runners-up in tonight's live final.
Louis Walsh's final hope came second in the public vote, losing out to victor Alexandra Burke.
The four-piece - Marvin Humes, Jonathan Gill, Ortise Williams and Aston Merrygold - survived the early rounds of the competition with ease and drew plenty of praise from the judging panel. However, Cheryl Cole often accused Louis Walsh of trying to turn the guys into a Westlife-esque group.
In week one the boys performed Boyz II Men's 'I'll Make Love To You' and followed it up with 'The Way You Make Me Feel' in Michael Jackson week.
They covered Dean Martin's 'Ain't That A Kick In The Head?' for Big Band week and performed 'Working My Way Back To You' in week five.
Renditions of Beatles hits and Mariah Carey's 'One Sweet Day' saw them through to week seven, when they first ended up in the bottom two.
Confusion over their song choice meant the group only had one day to learn 'A Million Love Songs' in Take That week, but Simon Cowell still praised their performance. However, the judges were forced to save the group after the public voted them in the bottom two alongside Rachel Hylton.
Aston Merrygold blamed himself for their performance in week seven, claiming that he had let down his bandmates. However, Marvin Humes insisted that the group didn't blame Aston and said that he was doing an "amazing" job fronting the group.
The following week the boys recovered from the setback to perform 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' and 'You Light Up My Life'. The songs received a mixed reception from the judges was pleased the viewers enough to keep them for one more week.
Louis Walsh backed JLS from their first audition, where he compared them to an "early Motown" collective. When Walsh was left with only one act in the show by week three, the boyband vowed to stay in the show until the final for their mentor.
The band performed Wham's 'Last Christmas', 'Flying Without Wings' with Westlife, and their potential single 'Hallelujah' before losing out to Alexandra Burke in the live final.

Congratulations to Alexandra, she is one hell of an artist. Talented, graceful, and comes off as a really nice, and interesting person.
I wish her all the best of luck with her music career, and will keen a keen eye on her music.

A peak of 14.6 million viewers tuned in to see Alexandra Burke win The X Factor last night, according to early ratings figures.
Overall, the final results show had a massive 13.46m (54.4%) from 9.40pm - The X Factor's best ratings in its five-year history. The peak of 14.59m, and an incredible 61.4% audience share, came at 10.40pm.
The 2007 finale managed a peak of 12.74m (55.1%).
Earlier, the final performances show averaged 13.2m (50.3%) over 90 minutes from 7.10pm. It peaked with 14.61m (54.4%) at 8.10pm.
Sandwiched between the two shows, The Girls Aloud Party - featuring performances and sketches from Cheryl Cole's band - had 8.37m (32.3%).
ITV2's The Xtra Factor pulled in 1.51m (9.8%) from 10.40pm, while the earlier pre-results show had 743k (3.2%).
On BBC One, Strictly Come Dancing's semi-final performances show, which began at 6.10pm and finished just before the X Factor began, drew 9.9m (41.2%). The figure was up around 700k week-on-week.
Ok well last night at babysitting the computer wasnt turned on so I just left it :p

I really loved JLS and would have been happy if they won, it was really hard for me to choose but in the end, the voice did it for me :p
Does anybody know what JSL stands for? Why are they calling each other by initials? :searchme:
Wanst it something like
Jack the lads swing
:hmm: they have said it before but I cant remember
edit: yeah it is : JLS stands for "Jack The Lads Swing"
Jack The Lads Swings  Each to their own, I suppose :)
And what do you mean by initials its only JB that uses his initials for his name
I don't know their names, what I meant to say was that I find it strange that there are 3 initials in the band's name when there are 4 guys in it. Was not able to express myself very clearly this morning due to a late night
Alexandra Burke has announced plans to perform with X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole's group Girls Aloud.
The 20-year-old described winning the ITV1 talent contest and a £1 million record contract last night as "the best feeling ever", revealing that she was sure runners-up JLS would take the crown.
She said: "I am in disbelief. I keep saying to my friends and family, 'This isn't real'. I cannot believe it's happened, but I am so happy. This is the best feeling ever."
Burke will now appear on the Top Of The Pops Christmas Special alongside acts including Girls Aloud and Take That. She added: "I want to do a duet with Girls Aloud. That will happen, I guarantee it."
A performance of Burke's debut single 'Hallelujah' during last night's final was described as "seriously incredible" by Simon Cowell.
That was to be expected

Alexandra was incredible. I'm really pleased that she won - I'll be downloading her winner's single in a bit :D
I cant beleive she won. Out of all the performances last night i must admit that i thought JLS were the best.
JLS singing with Westlife and Eoghan singing with Boyzone were actually quite good but Alex did not actually sing with Beyonce. She sang a bit until Beyonce came out and then just cried like an idiot and went uhuhuh a few times. I thought that was the worst performance of the night. Then the cheek of Simon to say that was the best performance.
In todays paper it says the reason that Rihanna was dropped was because Beyonce decided to do it. Right so Simon said to Rihanna you cant sing with JLS anymore cos Beyonce is singing with Alex and we need her to win. What a load of crap. And they say this programme isnt fixed. If the Xfactor really wanted to be fair they should have let Rihanna sing with JLS but NOOOO they couldnt let them have a great singer with them cos then they might have won.
I voted for Eoghan in the first half of the show but when he got voted off was gutted but kind of thought that JLS would win so i then voted for JLS in the final bit and thought they would beat her by miles.
Her version of the song was crap and JLS' was great.
Im watching the repeat now. talk about dragging it out!
 I know but it was a good night :p

That really was outstanding!!!
Well done Alexandra and i'm glad she won.
Beyonce was amazing live - take note Britney thats how you perform
I really wish Eoghan and JLS had got someone better than Boyzone and Westlife and equal star power as Beyonce to duet with.
Simon went a tad OTT with the praise for Cheryl having the winning act i cant remember him doing that for Danni last year
Leonard Cohen will receive £1 million in royalties for the use of his song 'Hallelujah' as this year's X Factor winner's single.
The track was performed three times in Saturday's live final - twice by eventual champion Alexandra Burke and once by boyband JLS.
Sony/ATV chief executive Marty Bandier told The Times that commercial use of the song usually comes with a large price tag. "We get a host of requests from films and television to use it, but 'Hallelujah' is recognised as one of the greatest songs ever, so it demands a high fee," he said.
Earlier this year, 74-year-old Cohen returned to live performing after a dispute with his former lover and manager saw him lose his $10 million (£6.7 million) retirement fund.
Alex was amazing on Saturday and her duet with Beyonce was outstanding.. better than I have ever see on X factor.. a truly deserved winner

What happened to Rihanna appearing?
Is is true her and Beyonce dont get on so thats she was axed???
Aparently Simon much rather wanted Beyonce to sing with Alex than Rihanna singing with JLS. So when Beyonce decided to do xfactor she wouldnt do it with Rihanna there. What an idiot!!! Im sorry but Rihanna is 10 times better than Beyonce.
