Former Blue band member Duncan James is to make a guest appearance in ITV police drama The Bill.
The 30-year-old, who enjoyed hits such as 'All Rise' until the group split in 2005, will play womanising kick boxing trainer Dan Colman, who finds himself in the frame for an attack on former lover Amanda Phelps.
When Amanda is found badly beaten, Dan soon finds himself being quizzed by the team at Sun Hill as he is convinced that he is the father of her baby.
Speaking of his part, he said: "It's really exciting to be filming with The Bill. I've watched it since I was younger and now I'm guest starring in it. It's quite funny to be going from being one of the boys from Blue to working with the boys in Blue!"
His episode is due to transmit on New Year's Day.
