A second series of fly-on-the-wall documentary The Family has been commissioned by Channel 4.
A new household is being sought for the programme, which launched with more than 3.5 million viewers in September.
Following the ratings success, Channel 4 has now commissioned Firefly to make a second series to air next September.
The channel's head of documentaries Hamish Mykura told The Guardian: "The Family is coming back in some form. I don't know what the new family is going to be like but it is not going to be the Hughes's as they are no longer an ordinary family. The new family will be contrasting and different."
Mykura added that the second series will be easier to make after the "incredible practical difficulties" of the reality show were ironed out in the first run.
"I do think The Family has shown a new way of making programmes and we want to expand on that and move it forward," he said.
