CORRIE bad boy Peter Barlow turns up steaming drunk to drive home his son Simon — to the fury of dad Ken.
Boozy bookie Peter (Chris Gascoyne) — who has returned to Weatherfield after a five-year absence — is pie-eyed when he comes to collect Simon from a school Christmas play.
But fuming Ken (William Roache) refuses to hand Simon over and instead confiscates Peter’s car keys.
The storyline will bring back painful memories for Chris, who was banned for a year for drink-driving in January.
The actor, 39, had downed three and a half pints of lager after playing Captain Hook in panto when cops stopped him in his Fiesta in Llandudno, North Wales.
