Maria is still upset at finding out that Kieron is Sam’s son. It is Christmas Eve and she is stuck in a rut so she goes to visit a Clairvoyant who tells Maria that her future is in her own hands…

Maria gets a visit from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. She is taken on a whirlwind adventure of emotions as she realises how her decisions could affect not only her own happiness, but other people’s too.

Through her very own ‘Christmas Carol’, Maria realises she needs to let Sam and Kieron go. It is for the best for all of them. Kieron and Sam leave for New York to start a new life together as father and son.

Didn't they do something similar with Elliot last year hah!? But not with "It's a Wonderful Life" lol.

It worked with Elliot, but I'm afraid it may not work with Maria.. I don't think she's as strong... as a character.

Hopefully I'm wrong, and it will be good, but who knows.

Yeah it was Elliots wonderful life. But this episode sounds...well a bit rubbish.

Also...how hard did Sam fight to see Grace? And now suddenly he's swanning off to America? :confused: Hmm..

I agree. The Elliot storyline was fantastic given all that he was going through with his wife and kids. Although this may be the chance to develop Maria's character.

True, she is a very underused character.

Although considering this is probably Sam's last episode I would've rather seen the episode given to him. :(
