I was looking ahead on my TV program menu for Corrie and noticed that on Wed the 19th 7:30pm - 9:30pm Lewis ( Morse's sidekick) is on.

Have I missed something, is this new programming ?

Not sure it is new programming or just a one-off but if you look at the spoilers for next week, it says

Note that there is no episode on Wednesday (November 19) this week. The next episode is due to air on Friday, November 21.

I think it is just the one-off, hopefully :)
