AMY WINEHOUSE’s husband tasted freedom for the first time in a year yesterday and declared: “I’m gonna see my wife and take her knickers down.”
Junkie BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL made his boast in an exclusive interview at a service station near the prison.
But his saucy hopes were soon dashed as he was then driven to a rehab clinic for treatment for drug addiction.
Back to Black singer Amy, 25, must wait SEVEN DAYS before she can visit him.
Last night a pal revealed: “She’s not that happy but it’s him who is really angry. Blake thought he would walk out straight into her arms.”
Fielder-Civil, 26, had been behind bars since last November. While locked up, Amy referred to him as “my Blake incarcerated”.
He told The Sun: “It’s tough inside — bloody horrible, but I’m out and that’s all that matters. It’s brilliant.”
Giving the peace sign with two fingers he added: “It’s a welcome to the free world for me and BARACK OBAMA. I heard about the US election on the car radio — it’s got to be good news.”
Asked what he would be doing for Bonfire Night, he added: “Not a lot — I’m not allowed to play with sparklers.”
Blake said: “I’m gonna get myself sorted. I’m gonna get my life back.”
Although looking well, his arms were covered in scars and what appeared to be fresh scratches. Last night Prison Service sources insisted that Blake was “eligible” for early release and had not been granted any special favours.
He was due out at Christmas but was freed yesterday from Edmunds Hill Prison, Suffolk, after agreeing to rehab at the Life Works Community centre in Woking, Surrey.
He is tagged, under curfew and banned from leaving.
Blake was sentenced to 27 months in July for beating up a pub landlord and attempting to cover it up. He served most of the term on remand awaiting trial.
Last night a photographer suffered a gashed head after a bedraggled Amy scuffled with snappers outside her North London home.
