Anyone watch this? It's on early Saturday evenings on BBC1. It's based on a Japanese show but they've done a British version over here. Not brilliant TV, but if your recovering from say a hangover or your getting ready to go out, it's really funny to watch to pass the time.
It's hosted by Dale Winton and it involves two celebrity teams who must face a wall moving towards them and they have to make the right shape to fit through the hole in the wall. If the wall hits them, they fall back and into a pool of water.
I like watching it as it's a good laugh. :D
I like it. Usually only catch about half of it but I saw all of it today. I can't believe the team actually got through the last one today. It was good for the reds to win for a change though; the blues always seem to. First time I've seen the final wall be passed to the other team too.
:cheer: I love it, I have to say though in the summer I was in america and they have their own version which looked amazing and so much better but its still great :D

i saw a bit of this show one week, it looked well fun to actually do lol!
Dale Winton’s Saturday night water fight is heading for the chop because bosses fear the public will get bored of it.
The show — which sees Z-list stars such as Vanessa Feltz and Andi Peters dress up in silver wetsuits and play human Tetris — is based on a similar Japanese show. But while the celeb gameshow has caused some giggles — humourless execs say the joke’s beginning to wear thin.
An insider said: “There’s a lot of love for Hole In The Wall. It’s a hilarious show and it’s found a place in the nation’s heart.
“However, there are only so many times you can watch Vanessa Feltz Reeves get dunked in a pool and laugh. It just makes you groan after a while.”
Bosses are also struggling to find celebrities willing to undergo the ritual humiliation involved.
Our source continued: “Finding people for the first series was easy — they didn’t realise what they were letting themselves in for.
“But now they realise you have to wear skin-tight lycra and end up in the water, it’s difficult to get even Z-list names.
“We don’t want to end up with former Big Brother contestants.”
Aww but I like this show :D
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo :(

I think they have started showing public participants taking part, opposed to celebrities seeing as Christine Hamilton appeared on the show yesterday.

I think you would class Christine Hamilton as a celebrity, definitely not an ordinary member of the public.

Bring on the wall!! :D
Such a shame if it wont get another series :(
They ought to have non celebs on there if it will get it another series. Are those taking part in the Japanese version celebrities or do they do it with anyone? I watched a bit of the Japanese one on youtube yesterday; I agree about the holes being harder.

Amy Winehouse has reportedly become addicted to Dale Winton's game show Hole In The Wall.
According to The Sun, the singer is an avid fan of the BBC One Saturday night entertainment programme.
"She reckons it's the greatest TV show she's seen in years," said an insider.
"Obviously, this year she hasn't had the busiest work schedule so she has spent a lot of time in front of the box."
The source added: "She thinks the show is an absolute hoot and has asked producers if she can star in an upcoming episode.
"They’re giving it some thought but are understandably in two minds as to whether a junkie, wrapped in silver, jumping through holes will go down well with the prime-time viewing public."
Hole In The Wall, which includes regular team captains Darren Gough and Anton Du Beke, features celebrities jumping through unusual shapes in a foam wall to avoid being knocked into a ditch of water.
GREAT news, the ridiculous celebrity game show Hole In The Wall is making a comeback.
The bizarre Beeb show, which sees stars attempt to squeeze through a moving hole in a wall to stop being dunked in a pool, returns for ten more episodes later this year.
But BBC1 chiefs have decided to replace presenter Dale Winton with Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton du Beke. And two new team captains - I’m A Celebrity champ Joe Swash and rugby idol Austin Healey - have been signed up.
Anton, 42, told TV Biz: “I am completely thrilled that I will be presenting the series.
“My only disappointment is that I won’t be wearing the silver suit this time around, although you never know!”

yay i love this show!
Celebrity gameshow Hole In The Wall has been axed by the BBC after two series, according to a report.
The Saturday evening programme proved a hit with viewers after its launch in 2008, but its second series last year failed to match the ratings success of the first.
A BBC source told The Sun: "There's still a lot of affection for Hole In The Wall, but bosses thought it was time to try something else."
The news is a second blow for Anton Du Beke, who started out as one of the show's team captains before being promoted to its presenter in series two. He was recently tipped to lose his job as a Strictly Come Dancing regular after sparking a race row on the contest last year.
"Anton won't be happy. It's an astonishing fall from grace," the insider added. "Just six months ago he was being talked about as the next big thing at the BBC. Now it looks like he could be left with nothing."
