2421: Neville's successful at the auction for The Dog

It's the end of an era for Frankie as the pub goes up for auction. She's already lost her family and is about to lose her home. Cindy's peeved when she turns up for work and is told she's not needed and tries to worm her way in with Warren when she finds out he's going to be bidding. Rhys is convinced Neville's having an affair and tells Gilly of his suspicions but Gilly's having none of it. But as Rhys investigates, he's shocked to see his dad hugging an upset Frankie and lead her into The Dog.
An angry Rhys storms in to confront him, only to find he's misread everything and Neville's actually bidding himself. Rhys is ecstatic, thinking of all the potential women that could come into his life. Warren and Neville go head-to-head in the bidding war but when Neville hits his limit, Frankie takes action to stop Warren getting his hands on The Dog…
Tony's treading carefully around Jacqui, not wanting to upset her but Dominic's worried she's taking him for a ride with her continuous spending on his credit card as he struggles to cope with Tina.
Tony knows he's right but he loves her and can't just walk away after everything that's happened. Jacqui's fed up of all the questions and heads off shopping with Max but it's not long before she's brought back to the village in the back of the police car. Tony can't believe she's been caught shoplifting and is grateful to Mark when he gets the charges against her dropped. Dominic's totally distraught when Carmel gives him Tina's copy of Wuthering Heights but he's completely alone as an oblivious Jacaqui and Tony argue around him. Jacqui can't deal with her mother's rejection in the church and isn't interested in hearing what Tony's got to say and heads off to get drunk.
Carmel's struggling to cope with Tina's death and everything that's happened, especially without Calvin by her side. Lauren tries to help but just ends up getting snapped at. Carmel's going mad stuck at home and asks warren if she can come back to work but when Cindy arrives wanting all the gossip about what exactly what went on at the church, Carmel rushes out. But she's worried that Niall's going to turn up and is constantly on edge.
When she sees Myra taking a bag of Tina's things to the charity shop, she quickly takes it off her, upset that she's even thinking of giving her things away without consulting any of them. Every little thing is getting to her and when Mark shows her some comfort, she breaks down. Lauren's suspicious of Mark's motives and phones Calvin to come home.
2422: Tony's determined to fight for Jacqui

Tony's still treading on eggshells around Jacqui, his guilt over sleeping with Mercedes is stopping him from fighting back. But when she starts drinking in Il Gnosh and upsets a customer, he can't hold back anymore. Jacqui doesn't make things easy for him, before walking away. Dominic feels for his brother and worries it's all getting out of hand but Tony's not ready to give up on Jacqui yet – he loves her.
Jacqui continues to get drunk in the dog and all her grief from the church comes flooding out in one angry outburst towards Carmel. Jacqui's hurt when Carmel retaliates and she can't get the fact that her mum chose her to die out of her head. A vulnerable Jacqui takes Mark back to the flat. Tony's shocked when he arrives home to find Jacqui and Mark in a compromising position.
Carmel's constantly on edge with Niall on the loose and the slightest noise is making her jump. Lauren's concerned for her and doesn't like the fact that Mark is hanging around. When they arrive back at the house to find the front door open, Carmel's terrified. Lauren rushes is spraying perfume over the intruder, only to find it's Calvin. Calvin feels guilty when he sees the state Carmel is in, but Lauren isn't willing to forgive him so easily and is frosty with him.
Calvin takes Carmel out for a drink to make things up to her but it's not exactly what he was hoping for when a drunk Jacqui joins them with Mark in tow and has a go at Carmel. Carmel can't listen to her anymore and leaves, but not before telling Jacqui exactly what she thinks of her. Back at home, Carmel finally allows herself to be comforted by Calvin as he holds her in his arms and promises to keep her safe.
With Frankie on the verge of a breakdown, the Ashworths open up The Dog. Their first day of trading isn't a great success as there are hardly any customers. Gilly's desperate to see Leila and heads over to Hannah's traffic light party at the union hoping to find her. Rhys knows he's up to something and joins him but his attention is soon taken by all the fit girls. Gilly's thrilled when Leila speaks to him and is given a glimmer of hope for the future. Meanwhile, after a misunderstanding with a customer, Josh finds himself being barred from the pub by his own dad.
New student, Archie, arrives in halls and makes a strong first impression. Leila's horrified when he bounds in as if he owns the place and starts throwing all her artwork out of his room. Gov arrives into the mayhem as Leila tries to make him stop. But Leila's worried that Archie's going to blow her cover and reveal to her dad that she's not studying Law at all.

The McQueens say their goodbyes to Tina as her body is brought home. Myra's heartbroken as they look through her belongings and all the memories they hold. Michaela can't face seeing his sister and rushes out as Carmel goes after her, leaving a heartbroken Myra alone with her and the baby. Tony's disgusted with Jacaui after her betrayal last night but Jacqui's not interested in what he thinks and walks out on him. Carmel apologises for her outburst yesterday, but when Jacqui shows no interest in the family or going to Tina's funeral, Carmel is livid and slaps her.
Jacqui's starting to get worn down with all the fighting and thaws slightly towards Tony but she's soon back on the offensive. After seeing newt and Lauren's Guy wearing one of Tina's old jumpers, Michaela finally cracks. Dominic's on-hand, however, to console her and can't say no when she asks him to read the eulogy. Back at home, Michaela finds the courage to say goodbye to Tina as Dominic attempts to write the eulogy, finally breaking down in the process.

Lauren's glad that Newt is staying and enjoys spending time with him. Leila's infuriated by Archie but her curiosity gets the better of her when he gives her an insight into Gilly's mind and she finds herself sticking around. Gilly's gutted to find Leila's not alone when he arrives at the union and has to spend the afternoon with Archie and Rhys in tow. Gilly's hopes are dashed even further when Leila blows him out - the story of his life.
2424: Tony discovers the truth about baby Max

It's the day of Tina's funeral. Feeling betrayed by her family, Jacqui refuses to go. Dominic takes a moment alone in Tina's room as the McQueens struggle to cope with the day ahead. Russ turns up at the church to pay his respects, but he's not welcome and is forced to leave. The family is touched as Dominic reads out the eulogy but are horrified when they hear what he has to say.
Following Dominic's outburst in the church, the wake descends into chaos as the McQueens blame each other for what's happened. Dominic feels guilty when he arrives home to Jacqui but can't understand why Tina lied about the baby. As he gets upset and tries to get his head around why she did it, Jacqui blurts out that she knew it was Russ' child, but she's horrified when she realises that Tony has heard every word. As all the horrible truths are outed, Jacqui and Tony realise that there's nothing left to salvage their relationship and Jacqui leaves.
Mandy and Warren can't control their feelings for each other. Mandy's tried her best to stay away from him but when Cindy accidentally locks them both in the Evissa office, she has no choice but to call him out. Mandy's slightly panicked being confined in the small space with no window as Cindy has a good look around and finds Louise's stash of alcohol and pleads with Mandy to give her a job.
There's obvious sexual tension between Warren and Mandy when he frees them but an oblivious Cindy stops anything happening. But when Mandy turns up at the flat, they can't fight their feelings any more. Louise arrives home as Mandy and Warren are in bed together, but will she catch them out?
Rhys, Hannah and Elliot head off to Liverpool to try and win tickets to the MTV awards. Rhys brags about the music competition, confident he'll win the most sought after tickets in town. Fed up of being branded geeks, Hannah and Elliot decide to go too, although Elliot's a little out of his depth. Rhys is mortified when he sees them arrive and warns them that they've no chance against his musical knowledge.
When they get inside the arena, Rhys realises that it's not a contest about music but a scream off. Thinking that he's too cool, he storms off. Hannah's unsure what to do, but decides to have a go. Rhys is still sulking outside the arena when an ecstatic Hannah emerges - Hannah's won a ticket! An excited Hannah and Elliot head off, leaving a gutted Rhys behind.
It's chaos in the Ashworths' as they pack up their things to move to The Dog. Josh's day doesn't get off to a good start when he discovers the guy he had a run in at the pub with, Gov Roy, is his new head teacher and he's given a week's detention. Things get worse when Gov arrives on their doorstep and Josh realises he's the new owner of the Ashworths'.

The McQueens struggle to cope with Tina's death following the funeral yesterday and the family is pushed further apart. Jacqui's angry with Myra for what she's put them through and can't forgive her mum after choosing them to die. Seeing how upset Michaela is, Myra goes to make her peace with Carmel but gets a mouthful from Jacqui instead.
An upset Jacqui goes to Tony's flat to collect her things but when she finds Tony's there, it's all too much for her to bear. Myra sees a distraught Jacqui in the village and tries to comfort her daughter and Jacqui finally gives in to her mother's embrace and breaks down in her arms.
Myra takes Jacqui home, but she refuses to live under the same roof as her sister, forcing a gutted Mercedes to move out.
It's the grand re-opening of The Dog and Neville's determined to make a success of it but it's Suzanne who seems to be doing all the work. The kids are highly amused when they see their dad's outfit but the smile is soon wiped off their faces when they see what he's got in store for them! Cindy's quick to offer her services and wear the costume to secure her place behind the bar and proves a big hit with the customers.
Hannah's excited as she gets ready for the MTV awards as a desperate Rhys and Gilly try to steal her wristband - thinking of all the endless possibilities a night at the MTV awards could bring them. Returning from a few days away, Louise fills Mandy in on all the gossip after bumping into her first love. Mandy's almost willing her to mess up, but when Louise tells her she'd never cheat on Warren, the guilt eats away at her. Louise finds some underwear down the side of the couch that doesn't belong to her and storms round to The Loft like a woman possessed.

Leila's horrified when her dad turns up at the college exhibition and she has to pass her work off as Justin's. As Gov admires the paintings and asks Justin to talk him through it, Justin has to blag his way through it. When Gov asks Justin to paint the family portrait, Leila gets caught up in the excitement and accepts on his behalf. Justin's gob-smacked - as is Leila - as she realises what she's just done.
