EX-Corrie star Tina O’Brien has given birth to a 7lb 1oz baby girl.

The blue-eyed tot, her first with lover and former soap co-star Ryan Thomas, 24, was born at 8am yesterday.

A source close to the couple revealed Tina, 25, who played Sarah-Louise Platt, gave birth to the bouncing baby girl at Manchester General Hospital — after trying to induce herself by jumping on a TRAMPOLINE.

The insider added: “She was desperate to hold her little girl and tried out all the tips to induce the birth. They are so pleased and relieved.

“Both mother and baby are doing very well. They haven’t told anyone the name yet and are keeping ideas close to their chests.”

Congratulations to Tina and Ryan :cheer:

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien enjoyed the perfect childbirth experience, according to partner Ryan Thomas.

O'Brien gave birth to Scarlett in two and a half hours without taking any medication.

"It was the perfect labour. No gas and air, no epidural. She was just on all fours going for it. She was glowing afterwards," he told OK!.

"Any man that reckons he's on the same level as a woman after having a baby can forget it. I don't think a man could deal with that."

The 24-year-old also revealed that he stood well back as the actress gave birth.

He said: "Don't touch a woman in labour unless you want trouble. I did once and Tina looked at me like she was going to bite my hand off!"
