One Branning makes a shocking confession
Airs on Monday, November 10 2008 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

Lauren's being questioned by DS Grimwood about the accident and it's clear that she's not finding the situation easy. Tanya suggests that they continue the interview at a later time, but Lauren isn't happy with her mother's interference. Suzy returns from her holiday and she's furious that Tanya didn't tell her about Max's hit-and-run. An edgy Tanya suggests that she speak with Jack and on returning to the kitchen, Tanya discovers that Lauren has disappeared. Later, Tanya locates Lauren in the café talking to Grimwood. An unsettled Tanya pushes Lauren out of the door and urges her to keep what they know a secret.

Clearly distressed, Lauren stuns Tanya when she reveals that she can't keep what she knows a secret much longer – she's going to tell the police everything. She adds that it's only a matter of time before the truth surfaces. Following a visit from DI Keeble and DS Grimwood, Jack tries to comfort Tanya with the news that the police have no concrete evidence, but it looks like Tanya's about to throw a huge spanner in the works…

At the station, Grimwood tells Keeble that they've had a major breakthrough in the investigation. Meanwhile, on the Square, Tanya's looking in the mirror, readying herself to leave the house; Bradley's alone at the Brannings as his puts on his coat; and Jack's alone in R&R as he pours himself a drink. Someone has finally confessed to Max's hit-and-run...

Elsewhere, Sean's on the lookout for a job and lands one at the building site; Zainab worries that she could have done more to save the Post Office; Peggy's upset that Phil's moving out of The Vic; Ian reminds Jane about the talent scout; the Masoods strike a deal with the building site manager for supply of food; Tamwar suggests that the family buys the Minute Mart; Jane and Christian's mother Linda returns to Albert Square; Masood has a different business idea; and Suzy and Phil find they've been burgled.

Sean's seething over Archie's interference
Airs on Tuesday, November 11 2008 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

At The Vic, Roxy's clutching a set of keys to a new flat that Archie has arranged for her and Sean. In the kitchen, Phil's speculating about the burglary with Archie and they both suggest that Sean could have been involved. Roxy's fuming with them for even thinking Sean could do such a thing, but when she checks his coat and finds a roll of money, she becomes suspicious. Sean's clearly hurt that Roxy thinks he could do such a thing and storms out. Sean arrives at the allotments and looks at the stolen goods, smiling. He's completely unaware that Roxy's behind him and has taken a picture.

Roxy insists that Sean return all of Phil and Suzy's belongings but he's worried what Phil will say and do. Roxy, however, has a plan – Sean should return everything as he found it. Sean reluctantly accepts Archie's offer of a loan for the flat, but a smug Archie takes great pleasure in telling him that Roxy's already accepted. Sean is seething.

Despite Zainab's apparent dismissal of the restaurant idea, Masood heads for the bank. On his way, he asks Bradley to hold one of the premises for him until he returns from seeing the bank manager. When the bank refuses his loan request, he makes a mysterious call on his mobile. When Masood returns to his family, he lies to Zainab, telling her that he managed to convinced the bank manager to give him the loan.

Meanwhile, the fallout of yesterday's confession from one of the Branning family continues…

Elsewhere, Dot urges Bradley to go to the hospital as Max has gone into surgery; Linda plans a family reunion; and Ben challenges Suzy to a cake competition against Shirley.

The Masoods embark on a new business venture
Airs on Thursday, November 13 2008 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Christian has returned from his holiday to the news that there's a surprise visitor at Jane and Ian's house waiting to see him. Christian is intrigued about the mystery visitor, but with Jane being ultra-secretive, he goes to see Roxy, who's stressed that Sean has thrown another wobbly. Later, in The Vic, Christian's reunited with his mother and Christian's secretly happy when Jane tells him that Linda's only staying for a week.

Archie's adamant that Roxy should forget about Sean – he's not fit to be a father or look after a family. He reassures her that whatever happens, he'll be there for his daughter and grandchild. Speaking with Christian, Roxy admits that she shouldn't have taken the offer of money for the flat from her dad behind Sean's back. When Sean returns, he tells Roxy that Archie has too much control over her and that he's dictating their future together. Reminding him that he's going to be a father soon, too, Sean's unwilling to listen and storms off again.

Later, Sean tries to go see Roxy upstairs at the pub, but he's stopped in his tracks by Archie. Sean, however, reveals that when the baby is born, he's taking Roxy and his grandchild away from Walford - and the Mitchells - for good.

Elsewhere, the Masoods look through their business plan but Tamwar's worried that if the business fails, he'll have to pull out of university; Suzy's looking at cake recipes in the hope of beating Shirley in their cake challenge; Shirley's not impressed that Heather's eating all of her cake ingredients; Suzy strikes a deal with Ian that he'll bake the cake for her; Shirley's crowned the winner of the cake competition; and Ian gets a face full of cake from Suzy.

Note that there will be no episode of EastEnders tomorrow night (Friday, November 14) due to Children In Need.

Sean Slater tries his hand at building but soon realises he’s not cut out for it and quits after only a day.

That lands him in trouble with dad-in-law Archie, who is convinced he’s not good enough for Roxy.

And Sean lives up to Archie’s fears when he then burgles Phil Mitchell’s house.

He steals all the Queen Vic boss’s prized possessions and hides them down at the local allotments.

But as soon as Roxy (Rita Simons, 30) hears of the raid she knows Sean is involved.

Instead of dropping him in it, she helps him to smuggle the stolen items back into the house.

Rob Kazinsky, 24, who plays Sean, admitted:

“I don’t think he even realises the trouble he could get into if Phil could prove it’s him.

“He’s not thinking straight. It’s a sign of things to come.”

That was my thought too , but when I thought about it , lauren can't drive. She jumps into a car and drives it round and into her dad without stopping and on until she comes to a place to dump it and burn it and get back ??

Strange one if true ...
