CORRIE crimper Maria Connor will turn sleuth after husband Liam is bumped off by Tony Gordon on Friday.

The mum-to-be (Samia Smith) is desperate to unmask the killer. Viewers know Tony (Gray O’Brien) is to blame, but Maria has no idea.


A source said: “Maria is devastated, especially as she’s carrying Liam’s baby. She can’t rest until she finds out the truth, and turns into a Miss Marple character.”

I wonder whether all will be revealed at Christmas time, the usual time for "explosive" storylines and they need to keep up with EE and Emmerdale, of course. :hmm:

i hope it does all come out, despite the drama of soaps, they are mrally sound, bad guys dont win in the end

I can just picture a scene from Poirot with Maria and her wonderful powers of deduction gathered round in a circle in the Kabin with all the suspects as she unmasks who she think did it.

I am sure that she will play a part in him being found out. I hope it won't be too long before Tony gets his cumuppance.
