2411: The police begin their investigation

Myra is distraught and attempts to console her family following last week's tragic events at the church.
Cindy attempts to discover exactly what's been going on at the Dog, but Darren's not about to admit to the mess the Osbornes have got themselves mixed up in and deflects her curious questioning. Seizing the opportunity, Darren and Cindy flee the hospital, while in a police interview room, Jack faces the police as the investigation into his fake death begins.
Back at the Dog, and Darren comes face to face with Frankie who is slowly falling to pieces in front of him. Cindy offers her support and Darren's grateful when she steps in and dissuades Frankie from contacting Newt. With the probability of Eamon's body being exhumed in the next few days, Frankie reaches her lowest ebb and the repercussions weigh heavily on Darren.
Elliot and Zak descend on Russ for some boy bonding. Disappointed that he's been left babysitting Max, they embark on a mission to keep him young and insist if they can't go out, they'll stay in instead. When Elliot somehow manages to swallow a ring pull from a can of beer, the trio plus Max head off to casualty.
2412: Darren comes clean with Kris and Malachy

Malachy is desperate to get news on Mercedes. Kris and Malachy head over to the McQueens' to find out who survived the church blast. Oblivious to Myra's grief, Malachy bursts in, demanding some answers. Discovering the terrible truth from a grieving Myra, Malachy makes his apologies and leaves. Kris chastises Malachy for his selfish behaviour as they make their way back to halls, only to find a sheepish Darren has popped by to pay them a visit.
Kris fires questions at Darren about Jack being alive and praises him for his heroics at the church. But Darren reveals the reason he's come to see the brothers - to tell them the truth about their father, Eamon. Malachy and Kris are stunned to hear their father has died and even more infuriated to discover Darren passed him off as Jack. Darren makes his apologies but Kris punches him determined not to let him get away with it.
Darren worries that the police are going to catch up with him. Determined to stop Frankie from pressing ahead with her confession, Darren heads to the hospital to visit Newt. He assures Newt that Frankie is sorry and he must stop her from handing herself in to the police if Newt is to avoid going back in to care. Newt agrees and Frankie is pleased to see that Newt could possibly forgive her.
Meanwhile, Darren panics as the police arrive at The Dog. Cindy covers for him as he makes a mad dash away. Frankie manages to persuade Darren to do the decent thing, and tell Kris and Malachy the truth about their dad before he runs away. Darren does, but feeling guilty for allowing his own dad to take the rap for his fake suicide, he changes his mind and heads to the police station.
Ste prepares for his first anger management session. While Justin enjoys having fun with his older woman, Ste begins to think he's wasting his time going to counselling as he hasn't been angry for ages. But Justin reminds him that he's doing this to win Amy back. Ste nervously meets his counsellor David and instantly goes on the defensive. Before David can speak, Ste has reeled off a list of problems in his life and his love for Amy and insists he doesn't need help with his anger. David disagrees and encourages Ste to talk some more.

Malachy resents Kris' apparent lack of grief for their father and pays a visit to Mercedes to reveal the news and seek solace. When Mercedes learns that Malachy isn't just searching for reconciliation, she lets him in and they console each other, sharing a brief moment of sexual attraction. Elliot offers support to an emotionally confused Kris and presents him with his dad's book, which Eamon had given to Elliot before his death.
An angry Kris rejects the book and throws it into the bin, which he eventually retrieves and discovers the inscription dedicated to Elliot. Kris breaks down, starting to grieve and wishing that he had merited such credit from his father. Malachy returns and the brothers resolve to go home to Ireland together to deliver the news to their mother, but Malachy suddenly feels he can't be without Mercedes and makes an impulsive decision.
Justin and Ste reflect on Justin's fling with his older woman and Ste's anger management session. With his dark mood slightly lifted, Russ heads to meet Ravi for drinks and he manages to surprise himself with laughing for the first time in days. Nancy's pleased with Ravi's efforts and glad that Russ is getting back to his old self.
2414: Nancy's furious about Warren's hold over Ravi

Josh looks forward to seeing Amy and uses his infatuation as inspiration for new song lyrics, while Rhys suggests he invite Amy round after school to spend some time alone with her. Meanwhile, Amy bumps into Ste in the village, who pleads with her to accompany him to his anger management session. After some deliberation, Amy decides to give Ste the benefit of the doubt and turns up to meet him, unaware that Rhys has spotted them walking off together.
At the session, Amy meets David and talks about how she feels when Ste gets angry. Ste apologises for all his behaviour and resolves that it will never happen again. Back in the flat, Ste mentions the possibility of Amy and Leah moving back in. However, Amy reveals she has no intention of rekindling their relationship and when Ste turns angry, she leaves. As Josh prepares for Amy's arrival, a furious Rhys tells him that she's back together with Ste but Amy turns up and convinces Josh there is no going back - Josh is the one she wants.
Kris and Malachy prepare to return home to Ireland. Malachy is in low spirits about Mercedes and her rejection of his marriage proposal. Kris sees Mercedes outside The Dog and informs her that it's not certain if Malachy will return after their trip home. Mercedes, who has just received her decree absolute from her marriage to Russ, claims she's happy about never seeing Malachy again.
As Kris and Malachy are preparing to leave, Mercedes swallows her pride and arrives in the village to say goodbye. Malachy confirms his love for her and declares his determination to marry her one day. They share a prolonged embrace as Mercedes begins to genuinely consider his proposal.
Louise is frustrated with Ravi living with her and Warren. Warren decides he wants them to get away for a night to spend some time alone and organises an impromptu trip to the Lake District. However, Louise receives a call from her mum, who has had an accident and needs her help, so the plan is ruined. Warren suggests Mandy look after Evissa for her while she is away.
Louise leaves and Warren and Mandy are happy with the arrangement. Cindy manages to secure a visit to Darren and leaves Mandy in charge of Holly at the last minute. Mandy fumes - she was on her way to see Warren! Warren calls round at the flat and offers the Lake District trip to Mandy, but of course with Holly to look after, it's impossible. They settle for a night in, but with Holly on their back, the night doesn't go smoothly.
Ravi complains about Louise and Warren to Nancy, who suggests he stay at hers tonight. In the Loft later, Warren walks in on Nancy and Ravi unable to keep their hands off each other. Ruining their night of passion, Warren informs Ravi he's working late as punishment. Nancy fumes about Warren's control over Ravi.
2415: Amy dumps Josh

Josh and Amy wake up together, happy in each other's company. Rhys quizzes Josh about what they got up to and when Josh reveals that nothing serious happened, Rhys advises him to keep Ste away, he should sleep with her.
At school, Ste starts calling Amy's phone, but she rejects it making Josh feel uneasy, but Amy assures him Ste will get bored. Ste comes to the school in search of Amy, but comes across Josh, who he very easily manages to wind up. Josh defends himself when Ste accuses him of not being the boyfriend Amy really wants and lies that he slept with her last night. However, Amy overhears and angrily walks off.
Ste pesters her about coming to his anger management session again, but Amy tells him it was a mistake her going in the first place. Josh apologises for lying, but Amy can't believe Josh would stoop so low and finishes with him.
Warren hovers around Mandy for most of the day while Cindy seems oblivious to the sexual attraction between them. Mandy can't resist and closes Evissa for a quick afternoon fling. Cindy arrives questioning why Evissa was closed for so long and clocks Rhys coming out from the back having just used the toilet. Cindy's suspicions are aroused - but by the wrong man!

Rhys flirts with Mandy, delighted that she's now apparently interested in him, but this angers Warren, who is spectator to the whole charade. When Mandy makes her excuses to leave and Rhys suggests accompanying her, Warren steps in and chucks Rhys out, furious that he is pursuing her. Mandy is angry at Warren's jealous behaviour, but it doesn't take long for Warren to get his way, and they fall in to a passionate embrace back at the flat.
Ravi gives Nancy the spare key to Warren's flat so she can let herself in that evening. Warren walks in, interrupting their passion yet again, and hands Ravi a package to deliver. Nancy's suspicious and confides in Russ that she thinks Ravi's involved in dealing drugs. Russ denies the possibility of Ravi couriering drugs for Warren, but unconvinced, Nancy asks Ravi outright.
Ravi is angry at her suggestion and reveals the package innocently contains some flyers. Ravi's infuriated by her lack of trust in him and leaves. On Russ's advice, Nancy goes to apologise to Ravi and offers to spend the evening with him, but Warren soon informs Ravi that he is working that evening, as he has his own plans. Nancy is enraged that Ravi accepts Warren's demands without putting up a fight and leaves, later announcing that they're over.
Newt returns home from hospital to the Dog. Frankie goes out of her way to make him welcome, but the memories are too much for Newt and feeling uneasy, he takes his bag and heads to Nancy's flat. Russ agrees to let him stay for a while. Newt is hostile towards Frankie and explains how betrayed he feels by her.
