EASTENDERS villain Sean Slater has a less than merry Christmas in store on his way to a spectacular exit, TV Biz can reveal.
Sean goes off the rails after discovering that he may NOT be the father of his wife Roxy’s newborn baby.

Sean (Rob Kazinsky) flees with the tot — leaving Roxy (Rita Simons) in anguish — and exits the BBC1 soap after plummeting into a frozen lake. But EastEnders chiefs are keeping the final outcome of his departure a secret.

A show insider said: “Will Sean live or die, and what will happen to Roxy’s baby? Viewers are going to be hooked — and we’re not going to disappoint.”

Sean and Roxy wed after a fiery romance and Sean pledged his love for the unborn baby.

But Roxy had slept with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), then boyfriend of her sister Ronnie, at around the same time as Sean and it emerges that Sean may not be the premature baby’s dad.

Last night an EastEnders spokeswoman said: “We don’t comment on storylines.”

Another notorious baddie, Nick Cotton, wends his way back to Walford in December to torment his long-suffering ma, Dot.

The EastEnders Christmas special was the most watched show of 2007 with 13.9million viewers, as Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements) uncovered dad Max’s affair with his new wife Stacey.

I cant see how a premature baby would survive if it goes into a frozen lake

It only says that he (Sean) plummets into the lake - not the baby too, he might leave him in a boat or at the side of the lake or somewhere safe. It would be the kind of stunt Sean would pull as I suspect that the shock of perhaps not being the father of the baby will turn him into the nasty git he was before :hmm:

You can live in hope but as you say yourself, highly unlikely.

Uhm well children are known to live after falling into frozen water. Has to do with the respiratory going down. They can stay alive upon one hour I recall.

THIS is the moment crazed EastEnder Sean Slater vows to punish wife Roxy — by kidnapping the tot he was conned into believing was his daughter.

The layabout (played by Rob Kazinsky) is furious to learn Amy’s real father is Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

The bombshell explodes during Christmas dinner at the Queen Vic. Sean snaps after the news of the paternity test is revealed in a home-made CRACKER — and confronts Roxy (Rita Simons).

He plans to get back at her and the tot’s twisted grandfather Archie Mitchell (Larry Lamb) by snatching Amy and fleeing to a deserted flat.

Devastated Roxy blames herself and tries to get her baby back before Sean does something terrible.

But it is Sean’s sister Stacey (Lacey Turner) who steps into the breach.

An EastEnders insider said: “Stacey is the only one who’s ever been able to handle Sean.

"He’s a loose cannon and he’s utterly humiliated.

“While everyone else panics, Stacey works out what’s happened and it’s not long before she’s on his tail.”

But Sean is still at large and over New Year he hatches his most twisted plan yet . . .

oh i thought it was suzy who put the results in the cracker,

in all reality how dumb would she be to even keep the results. After all the panicking she did when she thought she lost them she should have burnt them so no one else ever got the chance to read them lol

but yes i know this is eastenders :D :D

My guess is Archie found the results and made a copy. Then put it back with Ben. Far fetched I know but this is EE.

Ex-EastEnders star Rob Kazinsky has revealed that a Sean Slater return is still possible, admitting that he had conversations with the show's former producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins.

The actor played Stacey Branning's older brother Sean from 2006 to 2009, before finding success in the US.

With Stacey at the centre of so much of the Walford action and the recent introduction of pair's brother Kyle, viewers have naturally been left wondering if we could see Sean again soon.

"It's been a topic of conversation between myself and executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins on and off for years," Kazinsky told PA.

"I would come home and visit my mum and dad and I'd say, 'OK, maybe I could pop in if we could set up and shoot all my scenes in a day, maybe I could do something with Lacey Turner .But we were just never able to make it happen.

"At this point, it's been eight years now since I left that show. I don't know if there's much that would get me back right now, especially with the life that I have now and the girlfriend that I would have to leave behind. But you never say never."

The actor also admitted that he has fond memories of his time on the soap, adding: "It's still the work I'm most proud of - the work I did on that show."
