Winter/Christmas Holidays - warm or cold preferred?

Anybody going somewhere sunny and warm over Christmas/New Year or enjoying some Apres Ski in some snowy location? What are your preferences? I am a warm and sunny person and believe that if the good Lord wanted humans to go skiing, we would be born with feet 6' long to start with. :lol:

I am going to Germany for some snow.. I don't get much in Dublin and if we do it is slush!!! I love a winter wonder land!!!!!!!!!!

I know if I try skiing my legs will try to do the splits. :lol: No snow is for snowball fights, snow angels and snowmen. :lol:

I once went to Australia over christmas...it was gooood. I prefer sun. You can barbecue the turkey. :D

My Aunty goes away quite frequently for christmas, but to be honest, christmas wouldn't be christmas if it was at home for me :D sounding all mushy now I know, but I just loveeee christmas time at home, all cosy.
Actually I just love christmas altogether, I don't know if it just loses it's effect when you start to get a bit older but the last couple of years I haven't been all that excited but this year I'm excited already :D

I never been anywhere cold but I would love to! It would be amazing to go away somewhere at xmas where is cold and snowy and you walk around all wrapped up, theres decorations everywhere too, awww its just the xmasy feel :p
