HUNK JOHNNY DEPP will net £32MILLION to star in the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie.
The record payout to revive the role of rogue Jack Sparrow eclipses TOM HANKS’ £29million for the Da Vinci Code sequel Angels And Demons.

A source said: “It’s a lot of swag but they just can’t make another without Sparrow.”

But Brits ORLANDO BLOOM and KEIRA KNIGHTLEY are unlikely to return.

The first three Pirates films earned Disney £1.52billion.

High School Musical heartthrob Zac Efron has agreed to star in the fourth movie in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, it has been claimed.

Johnny Depp earlier this month signed up to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the film for £32 million - the biggest paycheque ever for an actor.

Efron will reportedly receive a $10 million (£5.8m) fee to appear, with Disney bosses keen to sign him up after he revealed that he may be reluctant to take part in any further High School Musical projects.

"Disney knew that Zac was reluctant to do any more High School Musical movies. He had already said there was 'no way' he'd return as Troy. So the Disney brass came up with an offer he couldn't refuse," a source told the National Enquirer.

Efron recently hinted that he may be interested in taking over from Daniel Radcliffe in play Equus.

YAY :D Gutted Orlando may not be returning - but it would be hard to explain ... ahh well JACK SPARROW :D :cheer:

Call be naive or whatever but i actually believe Johnny Depp is doing this for the script and actually being able to be Captain Jack again :p Although i suppose the money does have a little bit to do with it!

I hate him and I really hate high school musical! It better be a really really really really small part otherwise I am steering well clear. :lol: :lol:

just a bit concerned where they will go with the story after the three films already done. it was kind of finished off with the third. and orlando and keira are part of the films too, it would be strange them not in it.
