WIFE-beater Andy Sugden wakes in hospital — and immediately feeds a lie to Diane that Jo is trying to kill him.

Emmerdale’s violent farmer, played by Kelvin Fletcher, 24, falls on a rusty spike as he chases his wife (Roxanne Pallett) in a jealous rage.

But after her pregnancy fibs, no one believes Jo’s story, and led by Andy’s stepmum Diane (Elizabeth Estensen), the village turns against her.

The scenes air on ITV1 next Wednesday.

they havnt runined him, hes been evil for years, come on he killed his mum, and didnt fess up to it till recently, treated debbie horidly after she had he baby, and cheated on his wife with jo.

He also nearly killed Jack, although he did not mean to harm him, but I would be very nervous around him

I wouldn't call him evil cos of those things i think thats a bit far.
