View Full Version : Celebrity Big Brother 6 (Jan 2009)
CELEBRITY Big Brother is to return — with cheeky MP Lembit Opik on it.
Limelight-loving Lembit has signed up for the show — back next January after a year’s break.
Bosses picked the goofy-grinned Lib Dem hoping he’ll reveal all about his doomed affair with Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia.
Lembit might even copy fellow MP George Galloway when he was on the show — and don a skin-tight red leotard.
Oddball Lembit, 43, and Gabriela, 25, got engaged after he popped the question in Rome in April, but split a few months later.
He’s also had a relationship with TV weather girl Sian Lloyd, 50.
A Celebrity Big Brother insider said: “Lembit is a brilliant signing for us.
“He’s wacky and funny, but more importantly it’s hoped he’ll spill the beans on his romance with one of the Cheeky Girls.
“We are all convinced he won’t be able to resist putting his mouth into gear about it — he seems a very outspoken character in general.”
Lembit, who quit his frontbench job in a bid to become the Liberal Democrats’ president, has a long list of entertainment credits to his name.
He’s been on Question Time and Any Questions, and hosted satirical BBC quiz Have I Got News For You.
He’s also appeared on Al Murray’s Happy Hour, The All Star Talent Show and All Star Mr and Mrs.
Other names in the frame for CBB include former Sugababe Mutya Buena, 23, and American singer Whitney Houston, 45.
CBB took a break in 2007 after alleged racist bullying of Bollywood babe Shilpa Shetty, 33, by Jade Goody, 27, Danielle Lloyd, 24, and 29-year-old Jo O’Meara.
Channel 4 was forced to broadcast three on-air apologies after Ofcom found that the series had breached the broadcasting code.
This year’s replacement E4 show Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack attracted only 600,000 viewers, so producers were keen to return to the original format
Brilliant that it's returning! :D
But i doubt those that are rumoured atm will make the final 12, the rumour mill always starts months early and so many names and thrown around.
Whitney Houston was rumoured for CBB5 and never went in, it would be great if she did, but even she (with her road to ruin) is still too big for this.
CELEBRITY Big Brother chiefs are in hush-hush talks to sign up Sir Cliff Richard.
They know having the “Peter Pan of Pop” as a housemate would send ratings soaring.
The singer, 67, whose music career spans five decades, has kept fans guessing about his sexuality for years.
Cliff has been linked to a string of women, including ex-tennis star Sue Barker, 52, singer Olivia Newton-John, 60, and actress Una Stubbs, 71.
But last month the Bachelor Boy said for the past seven years he had been sharing his home with a man. He is ex-Catholic priest Father John McElynn, 53, who Cliff even refers to as his “companion”.
This has fuelled rumours over whether Cliff is straight or gay.
But the star, who has said the church should back gay marriages, will only say: “As for my sexuality, I am sick to death of the speculation. I don’t think my fans would care either way.”
BB bosses are hoping that if Cliff does the show, he might finally speak openly about his private life and put paid to all the gossip.
Celebrity Big Brother is due to return in January 2009 after a year’s break.
Other celebs tipped to appear so far include ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena, 23, and troubled soul diva Whitney Houston, 45.
TINY Austin Powers favourite Mini-Me is in talks to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
The 2ft 8ins star — real name Verne Troyer — is tipped to be in the Channel 4 show in January.
Also in the frame are Cliff Richard and Whitney Houston.
Verne, 39, hopes he won’t be singled out because of his size.
The actor — whose hotel sex video with ex Ranae Shrider, 22, was leaked on DVD last year — said: “A lot of people look at somebody of my stature as being a leprechaun.
“I’d rather they look beyond that. I can do many things.”
Big Brother bosses have been slammed for inviting infamous Holocaust denier David Irving to take part in the next celebrity show.
Irving, described as "anti-Semitic and racist" by a High Court judge, met producers about starring in January's series.
The disgraced historian, who was jailed in Austria for his beliefs, bragged on his website that Endemol sent him a "secret invite".
The 70-year-old was only told he had not made the final cut last week.
Jewish campaigner Mark Gardener said: "It's pathetic in the extreme that a Holocaust denier should even be considered as light entertainment for a reality TV show."
Endemol was criticised by media watchdog Ofcom after the Shilpa Shetty race row last year.
A spokesman said Irving was "not seriously considered" as a contestant.
SHOW chiefs have already taken delivery of a brand spanking new Diary Room chair for next year’s comeback series.
StarTV can reveal that the new piece of furniture is bright pink – and comes complete with flashing lights.
One of our moles spotted the chair being delivered to Endemol’s London HQ by couriers who were struggling to get it into the building. Our source revealed: “It’s certainly going to be eye-catching.
“And it looks great.”
Meanwhile, mouthy ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena has been signed up for CBB and will be trying out the new Diary Room chair in January – just as we predicted last month.
Mutya, 23, who quit the chart-topping girl band three years ago, has agreed to take part in the revived Channel 4 show to boost her flagging solo career.
BIG Brother returns to watch over more celebs next month — with a new “sharp” eye.
It looks like it’s been formed out of jagged glass fragments.
Perhaps it indicates that contestants — rumoured to include Satanic Slut Georgina Baillie, Whitney Houston, MP Lembit Opik, ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena, Hollywood actor Verne Troyer and Ian Wright — face a shard time!

Blake Fielder-Civil is in talks to appear on Celebrity Big Brother 6, reports the Daily Express.
Amy Winehouse's husband is currently in rehab to beat his drug addictions, having been behind bars for nearly a year for assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The 26-year-old recently revealed that he is ending the couple's marriage for the sake of Winehouse's welfare, blaming himself for the singer's drug addictions.
However, he is now said to be considering a move into television to save the troubled marriage. "Blake has told me he's been asked about doing Celebrity Big Brother. Amy is a fan of reality TV and Blake knows she will be watching it," a source said.
"He thinks it is the perfect chance for him to show Amy he is off drugs and loves her to bits."
Satanic Slut Georgina Baillie has been targeted by Celebrity Big Brother producers, say reports.
The burlesque dancer, who was at the centre of the Manuelgate scandal, is at the top of their "wish list", according to the Daily Mail.
Baillie found fame after ex-lover Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross left crude phone messages on her grandfather Andrew Sachs's answer machine during a Radio 2 broadcast.
"We couldn't have timed it better if we tried," said a source. "It will guarantee Big Brother maximum publicity.
"An approach is being made to her and we are confident of landing her because we know she is keen for publicity to kickstart her own TV career."
The source continued: "She would be on primetime TV every night and the producers know that Georgie is not backward in coming forwards.
"Georgie knows they will want her to talk openly about the whole affair, but she doesn't mind in the slightest - she will do anything for fame. She sees this as her revenge on Russell Brand."
Popstar Mutya Buena, Whitney Houston, MP Lembit Opik, actor Verne Troyer, ex-footballer Ian Wright and Blake Fielder-Civil have also been linked to the reality show.

tbh, if i was a celeb i would say i was not going into the house if he was going in. he's only just been released for violent assault and is a serious drug addict!
Michael Jackson is reportedly planning on throwing a party in the Big Brother house.
The singer wants to organise the bash to celebrate the birthday of brother Jermaine Jackson, who was a contestant in the controversial fifth series of Celebrity Big Brother.
The party would reunite Jackson with his fellow contestants from the 2007 version of the Channel 4 show, including Shilpa Shetty, Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd.
"He knows how much Jermaine loved being on the show and is confident he [could] get the contestants back together," a source told Welt Online.
"It would be the weekend to end all weekends."
Jermaine Jackson came second to Shilpa Shetty in the competition.
SIR Cliff Richard has been ruled out of Celebrity Big Brother over his plea for a private loo.
The veteran singer’s participation in the next series hinged on demands for privacy while washing and going to the toilet.
The idea of giving Sir Cliff, 68, his own facilities away from the house and cameras was discussed with show bosses.
But an agreement could not be reached, causing negotiations to collapse.
A show insider told The Sun: “Everyone was really excited about the prospect of having a legend like him on the series.
“But, early on in negotiations, reservations were raised about the lack of privacy and whether any alternative arrangements could be made.
“One suggestion raised was that Cliff could have his own bathroom away from the main house which would not be filmed — but ultimately that proved not to be possible.
“Producers were disappointed but are confident the cast they have gathered will more than make up for his absence.”
A spokesman for Channel 4 said: “Negotiations are held with a lot of people and many raise certain conditions for appearance. We weigh each one up on its own merit.”
The reality show wasn’t broadcast this year following the race row storm surrounding Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty in 2007.
It returns for its sixth series on January 2, with tiny actor Verne Troyer, 39, who played Austin Powers favourite Mini-Me, a confirmed starter.
Sir Cliff has sold more than 260million discs worldwide, and had 14 UK No1 singles..
A spokesman for the star confirmed last night: “Cliff won’t be taking part this year.”
couldn't have imagined Sir Cliff in their anyways.
was watching Countdown yesterday and I was thinking, hmmm could Carol be in it? :hmm:
If the price is right, I am sure she will be up for it, the same with all the pantos in the world. She is going to be over 1 million quid a year short now.
Sky At Night presenter Sir Patrick Moore is set to join the next Celebrity Big Brother.
Britain’s favourite astronomer is on the shortlist to enter the house when the show launches on January 2 – just two months before his 86th birthday.
A show insider said: “There will be medics on standby, keeping a careful eye on Patrick. He’s very spry but has arthritis and needs sticks to get around. The bosses are delighted … he’s a national treasure and they’re banking on some great television.” Sir Patrick, the world’s longest-serving TV presenter, has fronted monthly astronomy show The Sky At Night since 1957.
He is expected to be joined in the BB house by Verne Troyer, the 2ft 8ins star of Austin Powers, and rapper Bobby Brown, a former cocaine addict.
Other names in the frame include tennis ace Tim Henman and actor Andrew Sachs’ granddaughter Georgina Baillie, the girl at the centre of the recent Jonathan Ross/Russell Brand BBC scandal.
no! we don't need ancient people in there! as proved when Ken Russell went in last year! took him half an hour to get up the stairs. Then all he'd do is sit on a chair or lie in bed as he had no energy. Hardly thrilling viewing is it? Don't get me wrong I have a lot of respect for the man, but he's not suited to this show I'm afraid.

GEORGE Galloway famously dressed up in lycra and pretended to lap up milk like a cat.
Now Celebrity Big Brother bosses hope his suntanned pal Tommy Sheridan will follow in his pawprints when he joins the show next month.
A Channel 4 insider said: “We think Tommy will really stir up the House. He’s our new George Galloway.”
The former MSP — who’s facing perjury charges over his 2006 defamation action against the News of the World — will be tracked around the clock by 35 cameras and 40 microphones when he enters the famous set on January 2.
The 44-year-old, who founded the Solidarity party after splitting from the SSP, snubbed a big-money offer to appear in the 2007 series of the show.
But producers have talked him round — and last night our insider confirmed: “Yes, Tommy is in.
“Channel 4 have already secretly filmed an interview with him in Glasgow and he’s set to stir it all up and get on everyone’s nerves.”
Sheridan has previously admitted being a big fan of the hit reality series, saying: “It’s mind-numbing claptrap, but I can’t help it.”
And speaking about his decision not to go on last time, he said: “They made a very generous offer but there were no guarantees of communicating my political ideas.”
Insiders hope Sheridan will prove as controversial as fellow political firebrand Galloway.
Galloway, who formed his own Respect party after being booted out of Labour, was famously seen in a red Lycra catsuit in 2006.
He was roundly ridiculed after he pretended to be a cat and mimed licking milk from actress Rula Lenska’s hand.
CBB wasn’t broadcast this year following the race-row storm surrounding Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty in 2007.
But joining Sheridan in the BB House in 2009 will be tiny actor VERNE TROYER, 39, who played Mini Me in the Austin Powers films.
Grammy Award-winning American rapper COOLIO, 45, has also been signed up, along with radio and TV presenter TERRY CHRISTIAN, also 45, who fronted controversial Channel 4 show The Word in the 1990s.
Sheridan was awarded £200,000 in August 2006 after he convinced an Edinburgh jury that reports in the News of the World that he had taken part in orgies at a swingers club were untrue.
But trial judge Lord Turnbull raised concerns about contradictory testimony during the trial, and police launched a criminal investigation.
Last December Sheridan was arrested outside the studios of radio station Talk 107 in Edinburgh, where he was hosting a phone-in show, and charged with perjury.
In February this year, his wife, Gail, father-in-law Gus Healy, former MSP Rosemary Byrne, and Solidarity members Pat Smith, Graeme McIver and Jock Penman — all of whom gave evidence on Sheridan’s behalf in court — were also charged with perjury.
Our TV source revealed: “Channel 4 have a time delay on the show and any contentious comments Sheridan could make on his possible trial will be blanked out of the coverage.”
CELEBRITY Big Brother is making a controversial return after a year’s break — by hiring shamed comic Michael Barrymore.
The fallen funnyman will join low-rent spin-off show Big Brother’s Little Brother as a roving reporter when the series starts next month.
Barrymore — disgraced after a partygoer died in his swimming pool — came second to “fake” celebrity Chantelle Houghton in 2006.
George Lamb will be back to host the E4 show while comedian Jack Whitehall will preside over the debate on Celebrity Big Brother’s Big Mouth with a studio audience for the three-week run.
Channel 4 are keeping this year’s celeb line-up close to their chest. But George said Jeremy Kyle would be his dream pick for the house.
And Jack added: “Kerry Katona would be good. Jeremy Clarkson, I’d like to see him in there. And maybe Gordon Ramsay.”
Davina McCall returns to host the live launch night and evictions. She said: “It’s good to be back. Can’t wait.
“It’s going to be amazing!”
A race row involving Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and Jade Goody marred the last series in 2007. There were 45,000 complaints from viewers. This year’s show kicks off on January 2, 9pm on Channel 4.
Former Liberty X popstar Michelle Heaton, glamour model Lucy Pinder and Shameless actress Tina Malone are among the women contestants entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, the Daily Star claims.
A friend of Pinder said that the 25-year-old has "been dreaming of this moment. She wants to make this a show to remember."
The other female CBB housemates are allegedly Britain's Next Top Model judge Paula Hamilton, who quit the profession after drug and drink problems; ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena, previously rumoured for the house; and Loose Women's Sherrie Hewson, who was declared bankrupt last year.
Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik, Austin Powers actor Verne Troyer and former Arsenal and England footballer Ian Wright have been linked to the reality show.
Celebrity Big Brother begins on Channel 4 on January 2.
Former A1 singer Ben Adams is the latest celebrity rumoured to be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother.
The boyband star, 27, will join Verne Troyer, Lucy Pinder and Michelle Heaton on the show, according to the Daily Star.
Adams used to date S Club 7 singer and Celebrity Big Brother 5 contestant Jo O'Meara.
"It is pure coincidence that we have a link to the past show which caused all the controversy," said a source.
"Ben is there solely on his own merit."
A1 were an Anglo-Norwegian pop outfit who split in 2002. They had two number one singles with 'Take On Me' and 'Same Old Brand New You' and released three studio albums
really looking forward to this coming back! it always cures my post christmas/new year blues, knowing this is coming back.

"Celebrity Big Brother will be shaken up with a suprise twist instore for the male celebrities. A couple of days after entering the house, the men will be able to choose one of three stand-by female celebs to enter the house. Then the public will be able to vote for one of the remaining two celebs to enter the house, at a later date.
A BB Insider reported - 'We have got some of the sexiest women lined-up to enter the house and with the men we have, hopefully they will be competing for their affection.'
It will also cause a stir to the female celebs. 'The women will also have to compete to win the public over.'
Although the identities of the three women are unknown, reports have rumoured that Baywatch Star Carmen Electra is due to spice things up. Electra, 36, will be arriving in the UK on January 5th to promote the 55th anniversary of Playboy. Georgina Bailie will also join the list.
Rumoured celebs include glamour girl Lucy Pinder, Loose Woman Sherrie Hewson and Austin Powers Star Verne Troyer.
Ulrika Jonsson has signed up for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother, according to a report today.
The Sun claims that Jonsson accepted an offer from producers after deciding that the Channel 4 show could boost her TV career.
The former weathergirl and presenter has already appeared on Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Dancing On Ice in recent years.
Ex-popstar Michelle Heaton, model Lucy Pinder and former Sugababe Mutya Buena have also been linked to the show this month.
Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 4 on January 2.

great programme though, it's repeated a few times this week if anyone missed it!
TELLY beauty Ulrika Jonsson is getting a staggering £175,000 for her stint on Celebrity Big Brother—causing a storm among the other housemates who are on MUCH less.
Ulrika’s gigantic paypacket, for up to three weeks’ work, is EIGHT-AND-HALF TIMES as much as former A1 singer Ben Adams, who will get a comparatively measly £20,000.
And it’s nearly SIX TIMES more than Shameless actress Tina Malone and rapper Coolio, who get £30,000 each for the series starting Friday.
Ulrika’s fee is believed to be the highest EVER for the Channel 4 show—and is £25,000 higher than this year’s next best-paid star, glamour girl Lucy Pinder.
But TV bosses hope Ulrika, 41, will pull in huge audiences by spilling the beans on her exes—who include former England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson, disgraced footballer Stan Collymore and shamed TV presenter John Leslie.
A CBB insider said: “Many of the other celebrities are fuming.
“When you are doing exactly the same job as someone else and they are getting paid much more, it can cause resentment. But Channel 4 thinks Ulrika is the top-billing celeb because of her past. “The revelations she may come out with will get everybody watching—we hope it’s going to be TV dynamite!”
The other housemates are ex- Sugababe Mutya Buena and former Word host Terry Christian, who get between £50,0000 and £75,000 each, Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton (£60,000), La Toya Jackson (£100,000) and Mini-Me actor Verne Troyer (£136,000).
Controversial Scottish politician Tommy Sheridan is in the house too but his fee is unknown.
Ulrika—who had her fourth child in June after marrying American adman Brian Monet—is the second of Sven’s past lovers to go on CBB.
Faria Alam revealed in the 2006 series that she had peed in an unnamed ex-boyfriend’s tea.
The show was cancelled last year after the 2007 race row, involving Jade Goody and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
I won't be watching it this year, it got rediculas last year!
Celebrity Big Brother bosses are hoping that Verne Troyer will romance a female contestant on this year's show, say reports.
The Hollywood actor, who starred in a leaked sex tape earlier this year, is expected to appear on the programme alongside Michelle Heaton and Lucy Pinder.
"Verne might be small but he's big with the ladies," a source told the Daily Star. "Lucy or Michelle might fall under his spell.
"He'll only come up to their boobs. So that'll be quite a view for him."
Troyer's ex-lover Genevieve Gallen previously praised the Austin Powers star for his skills in the bedroom.
"Let's just say, make no assumptions. I'm a very satisfied woman," she said. "I have dated a few celebrity men and Verne was the most amazing man to be held by.
"My biggest problem was other girls would come and just throw themselves at him and I would get pushed away."
I won't be watching it this year, it got rediculas last year!
awww! you have to watch it! it's gonna be great! last year that Celebrity Hijack programme was rubbish, it didn't even have celebs in it, don't let that ruin Celeb BB. It'll be amazing - seeing deluded z listers thinking they're amazing.

IGHTIES pop icon Steve Strange is in last minute talks to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The oddball singer, 49, who found fame in New Romantic band Visage, wants to make it as a reality TV star.
And bosses are desperate to sign him after watching David Van Day, singer in Eighties band Dollar, causing havoc on ITV1’s I’m A Celebrity.
They are hoping Steve, who won Children In Need’s Celebrity Scissorhands two years ago, will tell all about his colourful life and mysterious sexuality. A source said: “He’s not a huge name like LaToya Jackson but he’s a zany character and that’s what Big Brother is all about.
“Steve’s got a murky past and he’s very open with it. He’s not afraid of drama and he’s a captivating character.” The singer — real name Steven John Harrington — has appeared in Eighties drama Ashes to Ashes as himself. He has battled heroin addiction and was once prosecuted for shoplifting.
THE Celebrity Big Brother house is decked out for love this year — as bosses play match-makers with the stars.
They have created a fur-lined snug in the garden and provided a luxury bath to take FOUR to get celebs in the mood.
After the Shilpa Shetty-Jade Goody race row in 2007, bosses are looking for a heartwarming story to grip the nation when Celebrity BB returns on Friday.
The 2006 series — which saw fake celeb Chantelle Houghton fall for singer Preston — is regarded as the best at Channel 4 HQ and bosses are desperate for a return to form.
A programme source told TV Biz: “The snug is designed for flirting. It’s fitted with romantic lights and strewn with sensual throws and cushions. A love triangle would be ideal.”
Celebrity Big Brother was rested last year following the race row.
A new Celebrity Hijack format was brought in on E4, but it flopped, with an average of just 600,000 viewers.
Other new features in the Celeb BB complex this time include a jail for misbehaving stars, an outdoor toilet and exercise bikes.
Our source added: “The house is similar to the BB9 house but everything’s bigger and better. We have kept the heaven and hell theme. One bedroom is very basic, the other is luxurious.”
A larger nominations pod will also allow two celebs at a time to discuss their feelings. The source said: “Stars never used to be able to discuss nominations but it makes great telly to see them bitch about each other.”
This year’s contestants will be revealed on Friday’s show at 9pm.
They will include Ulrika Jonsson and ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena. LaToya Jackson and Scottish MSP Tommy Sheridan are also tipped to appear.

Glad they kept the layout of the house the same as this years bb. Wont get confused then lol. I dont usually watch celeb bb but going to tune in this year as this years bb was so great :D
lead story from the Daily Star today:
A top star has been pulled out of Celebrity Big Brother at the eleventh hour after a shrink claimed she was “too bonkers” to go in the house.
For the first time celebs have had psychological tests to ensure they can cope with the stresses and strains of the C4 programme.
The move was brought in to make sure they could deal with problems such as bullying – issues which dogged the Jade Goody-Shilpa Shetty show.
However we can reveal that one high profile woman sensationally failed her “psych test”. The Daily Star knows her identity but we cannot print her name for legal reasons.
Big Brother’s shrink claimed the stunning star – who has battled booze and drugs and even attempted suicide – was “too fragile, mentally unstable” and had “major unresolved issues”.
He warned that it would be “a major risk” putting her in the house because he feared she would have a breakdown.
Only days before the test, producers had told the woman that she had “greatly impressed” them.
And they called her to say she was a dead cert for the line-up which will be unveiled at tomorrow’s launch hosted by Davina McCall, 41.
But disaster struck last week when the Big Brother psychologist sent them his report.
The star is understood to be “furious and heartbroken”. She was hoping that a stint on CBB would revive her career.
The celeb has been in the media spotlight for more than 20 years and enjoyed a successful career in TV presenting, movie acting, pop videos and sexy photo shoots.
But it is her private life that helped catapult her to stardom. She made headlines over a secret affair she was having in the late 1980s and also over her battles with drug and booze addiction in the 1990s.
At one point she even tried to commit suicide.
In recent years the star has cleaned up her act after stints in rehab and she was thrilled when CBB wanted her on their show.
A pal said last night: “She is devastated. As far as she is concerned, she is not unstable and can cope with anything.
“She doesn’t drink or do drugs any more.
“She is getting her life back on track.
“And she thought she would pass the psych test. No way is she bonkers.
“It’s a major blow. She is very angry and wants the producers to know that she doesn’t agree with their report on her.”
Channel 4 declined to comment on the matter.
And the celeb has not been contactable over the issue.
However her former agent said: “I would never have advised her to do this show in the first place.”
This year’s line up is set to feature Daily Star model Lucy Pinder, 25, ex-Suga-babe Mutya Buena, 23, TV host Ulrika Jonsson, 41, singer LaToya Jackson, 52, Terry Christian, 45, and rapper Coolio, 45
My money is on it being Latoya Jackson - they're all raving mad in that family. Will be a shame if she doesnt go in though, she'd have been very entertaining!
there's been speculation on the DS Big Brother forums and it's pretty much obvious that the talked about celeb that has been axed is Paula Hamilton:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paula_Hamilton
everything that report mentions has happened to Paula Hamilton, so I guess we can rule her out of entering now!
So La Toya Jackson could still be going in! :D
Celebrity Big Brother starts tonight at 9pm on Channel 4  :cheer:

I thought it was a good show. My favourite is Lucy Pinder at the moment. She just seemed the most genuine and I find her interesting as she goes against the 'page 3 girl' stereotype and she seems determined to go against preconceptions. Hopefully, she'll prove to be interesting. I also like Verne and Michelle Heaton. At least, there were a few people that went in that I actually knew!
Im shocked I know all of them apart from 2!
Theyve done very well this year
Oooh Tina looks like a laugh - and how cute is Verne :D
Good year :cheer:

Awww Verne is adorable! Dragging his bag along  Bless!
not the biggest line up, but a very good one! i know all of them actually, and i think it will be a very entertaining few weeks, good mix.
la toya - mentalist, i've seen you tube clips of her and she will be highly entertaining!
mutya - not sure, i'm either gonna love her or hate her, either way she will be entertaining, wanna see what she's like when she's got a drink down her!
Verne - love him! so cute! and haha he's just great! love his voice! awww!
Tommy - he wont last long, but will be interesting to watch whilst he's there
Lucy - you know I thought she was just a page 3 bimbo slag, i was wrong, her VT alone has proved she isn't, goes to show you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. she's hot and she's interesting, i hope women give her a break and keep her in!
Ben - Winner i think, or runner up. doubt he'll be too interesting though, but nor was Rachel in BB9.
Tina - She'll be quality! Love her in shameless! Down to earth contestant compared to some of those prima donas!
Coolio - Meh, another Dennis Rodman on our hands, an american who is out of the loop, can't see him lasting too long!
Michelle - Not sure what to make of her, I have a lot of preconceptions atm of her, I don't think she'll last long, I'm guessing first or second out!
Terry - Gonna love him or hate him, he's certainly got a mouth on him hasn't he!?
Ulrika - She'll be interesting to watch, not sure if I actually like her though! She'll be car crash tv.
Can't wait for the next 22 days! Something decent to watch on TV! :D
they've just anounced on BBBM that Terry Christian is the first Head Of House, with luxury quaters - own room, ensuite, and use of hot water, straighteners etc 24/7. Only one to nominate this week.
Terry, is that that guy who did the word?

From Digital Spy:
A peak of over 6.4 million viewers tuned in to watch the launch of a new series of Celebrity Big Brother last night (Friday), according to early figures.
The opening show, which saw stars such as Ulrika Jonsson, La Toya Jackson and Verne Troyer enter the BB house, averaged 5.27m (21.8%) for Channel 4 between 9pm and 10.15pm. The peak audience of 6.42m (26.9%) came at 10pm.
The figure is down significantly on the last run - broadcast in January 2007 - when 7.1m, and a peak of 8m, tuned in to see the likes of Shilpa Shetty move in.
E4 spinoff show Celebrity Big Brother's Big Mouth, fronted by new host Jack Whitehall, followed the Channel 4 show with 793k (4.3%) over 50 minutes. E4's live streaming from the house then kept up a decent 345k (4.7%) until 2am, peaking with 695k (5.6%) at 11.20pm.
Channel 4's average share in primetime was 12.1%, up significantly from last week's 5.2%.

Coolio is HILARIOUS!
"37 minutes later Coolio is still talking"
and when he went mad to all the rubbish songs haha
love it when they do the showcase task each year, shows how talentless the x list housemates are!
loving this series so far! mini me is hilarious!!!
It was so funny last night
But watching Latoya sing was painful
Tonight’s live episode will see the housemates discover who Terry has nominated for the first eviction.
As the allocated Head of House, the presenter has been charged with choosing three of the housemates for possible expulsion, although so far he has only nominated two.
At Big Brother’s request, he was asked to pick the housemates he thought had the 'Biggest Ego' and 'Least Talent' and chose Ulrika and Lucy respectively.
Giving his reasoning for nominating Lucy, Terry said: "I have never ever heard of her. I’ve never seen her in a bikini, or with her waps out."
Today will see Terry single out the final housemate on the grounds that they display the ‘Least Integrity’. He will make his decision by listening in on three chosen housemates who have entered the Diary Room for a conversation.
Producers have said that there will be one final twist in the unveiled nomination list, which is widely rumoured to involve the celebrities having to choose one of the three to save from the public vote.
Well thats a bit unfair, cos if big brother is gonna pick 3 people
:rotfl: omg celebs are the best at taking the mick out of each other!
why he choose that 3 I'll never know, and the fact none of them bitched seemed pointless him having to nominate one.
it was obvious the twist was to be to save one, and it was obvious the majority would go with ben, so the whole second show was a bit lacklustre if you ask me!!!

Singer Michelle Heaton and pop hunk Ben Adams have become a couple – but just as a stunt.
Michelle, 28, and Ben, 27, have to fake a romance as the celebs recreate the lifestyle of the rich and famous in this week’s task.
If the gang pass they will have a luxury food budget – but if they fail they will have to survive on basic rations.

ULRIKA Johnson has made a play for Ben by telling him: “I didn’t know we would be sharing a bed together. Well we don’t share a bed but we will eventually.”
But Ben admitted that he found his last three girlfriends online. He told Lucy: “I met them on Facebook. You get chatting to them and you get to know them better.”
And Coolio, 45, said Michelle Heaton, 28, hinted something was happening between her and Ben.
Ulrika, Ben and Lucy are up for eviction.

A HUGE campaign has been launched to boot Ulrika Jonsson off Big Brother after she was outed as the most expensive flop in the show’s history.
The Swede – said to be pocketing £175,000 for her appearance in the house – hoped the show would shoot her back to the big time.
Instead she has found herself one of the most hated stars on reality telly.
And last night the pressure was getting to Ulrika as she said she is desperate to go because she fears having a nervous breakdown.
She said: “I’m not having a breakdown just yet, but it’s coming.”
Telly bosses had hoped she would dish the dirt about her saucy sex life with former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson.
But all the 41-year-old has done is moan about food and missing her children.
Now thousands of viewers have left messages on Facebook urging everyone to kick her out and save model Lucy Pinder, 25.
Laura Ball, of Liverpool, wrote: “I really, really hate her.”
Ulrika is hoping for one online success with the Diana Ross and Lionel Richie smash Endless Love, which she has recorded with Verne Troyer, 40.
It was posted on the CBB website, where it has to log up 10,000 hits for housemates to pass this week’s shopping tasks.
Ulrika: I quite like her and think she will warm up
Lucy : slightly scares me, she seems a bit mannish as in they are not really her lady lumps but a pair of mans dangleys thrown over her shoulders and put in a bra
Latoya: Have you ever saw her and michael in the same room? Need i say more!!!
Terry: I think he is ok, he see's it for what it is a game and will treat it that way
Tina: LOVE LOVE LOVE
Coolio: very very very very annoying, i can see the first fight involving him
Tommy: What can i say but....On behalf of the Scottish people i say SORRY and if it makes it any better we don't like him either
Mutya: while in the sugababes was reported to be the Bitc...opps......nasty one of the group, but i haven't saw that she seems nice
Michelle: It's nothing personal i just want to slap her with a wet mop
Ben: The jury is still out on him, I'm not sure what i make of him yet
Verne: Mini-me = Big fun
Not sure who i want to win yet, but time will tell

Celebrity Big Brother!!

Verne will win!!!!!:cheer:
so LaToya very conveniently got into the Big Bro house first and so had first choice of bedroom, no surprise there then
talk about a fix, but of course that won't be the last fix either
lets watch and wait and predict the fixes
no surprise with the eviction last night.
So guess it needs to get exciting now, what can do that, I wonder?
Any ideas?
In the meantime, I reckon, the evictions will continue with the "dull" ones until, Coolio and Tina Malone are slugging it out, oh should be good, seeing if Coolio can wear her down, hope she makes a mug out of him he is so annoying
Oh how sad am I?
Michelle, Mutya, Ulrika and Tina will face eviction from the house this Friday.
The housemates gathered on the sofas in their toy task outfits to hear the announcement this afternoon.
"How weird is that?" Michelle said as the four names were read out. Tina clapped her hands and smiled at the news.
Ulrika shook her head, saying: "Oh my God, oh my God."

Tina has become the second celebrity to be evicted from the Big Brother house after receiving 38.8% of the public vote.
The Shameless actress stood up, clapped her hands and yelled "Yes!" as Davina made the announcement.
Mutya, Michelle and Ulrika will remain in the house after surviving the eviction.
Ulrika held her head in her hands before she got up and hugged Tina, who said she was "made up" and started crying.
As the pair hugged, Tina said: "I'm really, really sorry for you, baby."
While Tina said her goodbyes to Verne and Tommy, Mutya said that she was "not waiting" to leave the house.
"I'm going tonight and they can't stop me," the former Sugababe threatened.

Big Brother has told Mutya that she can leave the house and arrangements are being made for her departure.
Going straight into the Diary Room after Tina's eviction, she said: "I seriously can’t take it anymore. I can’t stay another night.
"If I stay tonight, I won’t be able to sleep. I’m sure it won’t be difficult for you to arrange for someone to get me out the back door."
Going back into the house, she casually told her silent housemates: "It will take about an hour, I told them to call my manager and call my mum and tell them that I’m going home tonight."

Don't even care who wins anymore, losing interest fast:(
Michelle became the fourth celebrity to leave the Big Brother house tonight during a shock eviction.
Housemates were dressed up to view the premiere of the movie they had made during the day about their time in the house when Davina made the announcement that "one of them was being cut from the final scene".
The presenter had earlier revealed that Michelle and Ulrika had been nominated to face the axe by the group.
Crowds outside had been under a vow of silence to ensure that suspicion was not aroused inside the compound.
"I told you," said Michelle, as Davina appeared on the living area plasma screen to name the housemate being ousted, while La Toya gasped: "You were so right."
Michelle quickly hugged her housemates as Davina said that she was "coming to get her". The former Liberty X singer then left the house to a mixture of cheers and boos.
Michelle's eviction followed the public oustings of Tina and Lucy, while former Sugababe Mutya walked out on Friday.

BIG Brother bosses are worried that too many OLD FOGIES are watching.
The programme’s audience has matured over the years, research found — but Channel 4 wants young viewers to attract advertisers.
Ratings have tumbled for this year’s Celeb BB as teens are said to have been turned off by the older celebrities.
Ulrika Jonsson, 41, La Toya Jackson, 52, Terry Christian, 48, and Coolio, 45, are all better known among the over-25s. Numbers watching Monday night’s eviction show slumped as low as 1.2 million at one point — a third of its usual figure.
One source suggested the show’s sponsor, bed firm Dreams, was another example of the shift in the audience’s age.
The show used to be sponsored by “youth-focused” companies, such as mobile phone firms.
The source said: “Let’s face it, young people with disposable incomes don’t buy fancy beds, do they?”
Meanwhile, Ofcom said it had 328 complaints about bullying on CBB last week.
Maybe the show has run its course and is ready to be scrapped :hmm:

well is this an ageist situation?
That only young un's can provide entertainment, ohhhhhh:nono:
NO it's more to do with WHO was in the house,
one thing that may be prevented in the future is,
Mothers with kids, any mother who goes into this knows that they have to leave their kids, so it's no good thinking it will be easy to just walk
Mutya are you listening? ( and for that matter what did she entertainment did she provide??)
I for one have watched this with my daughter, we both have not once mentioned the age factor, young or old, it's simply a case of the wrong collection of people.
La Toya became the fourth celebrity to be evicted from the Big Brother house in the first of two surprise evictions tonight.
Housemates had been spending the day completing a Dare Devil Task, during which the American had shown her bravery by licking Gentleman's Relish off a mirror in the house.
The public have been voting since Monday for the housemate they want to win this year's Celebrity Big Brother. La Toya had the least votes at 6.5% and was the first to be told that she would be leaving the house tonight.
Tommy was the second celebrity to be booted out of the Big Brother house tonight in a surprise double eviction.
The Scottish politician was met by mainly boos from the crowds, prompting Davina to term the moment as "quite a painful reception".
The 44-year-old's eviction came close on the heels of La Toya's exit, leaving just Ben, Coolio, Terry, Ulrika and Verne in the running for Friday's final.
The socialist Scot had earlier revealed that he is backing Verne to win the show.
Tommy was the sixth celebrity to leave the house, following the evictions of Lucy, Tina, Michelle and La Toya. Mutya walked out voluntarily last Friday.

I've hardly watched any of this series but I just switched over and seen Ulrika had won. All I can say is I am very surprised. I thought Verne was a firm favourite and I always thought Ulrika was disliked after all the negative press surrounding her and Sven, and John Leslie. She must have won the British public over?
I loved Ulrika! The way she was with tasks, I just think the way she comes arcoss you can understand with her lifestyle and I think because shes well spoke and 'posh' you know people think she thinks shes better.
Im glad she won, I mean I thought Verne would win just cause hes verne, but Ive always liked Ulrika, I think its cos she reminds me of gladiators and my childhood and loving the tv and I know its sound odd but yeah Ive always liked her :)

How is it a fix? The public vote - Ulrika got the most votes so she won. Big Brother can mediate what they show to an extent to influence viewers into a certain way of thinking, but the bottom line is, the public vote and the public decide who wins - just because it may be a winner your not happy with doesn't mean it's a fix.

Celebrity Big Brother producers were pleased with Ulrika Jonsson's shock victory on Friday night, a report claims.
The TV host triumphed over Terry Christian in the final vote, while long-time bookies' favourite Verne Troyer finished in fourth position.
As the result was announced by host Davina McCall, Jonsson exclaimed: "Oh my God, that's just bonkers! It's a fix."
A show insider told The People: "It is good to get a shock every so often. The last series of Big Brother was incredibly predictable, as it was the previous summer. It's quite nice when you end up with a result which takes some people unawares."
The source added: "The bookies definitely got it wrong this time but maybe they were too hasty in going all out for Verne. After all, Ulrika survived the public vote again and again so there was always a core of support there for her."
La Toya Jackson is offering fans meet-and-greets for a daily rate of £55,000.
The singer and model has stayed in Britain following her eviction from Celebrity Big Brother last week.
The star, 52, is reportedly insisting that promoters pay £4,000 per night for her suite at the Dorchester Hotel and any travel costs.
Former A1 singer Ben Adams, who made the show's final, is charging just £3,000 for his meet-and-greet sessions.
 I would rather not meet her at this price, thank you very much

Ulrika Jonsson’s shock Big Brother victory has sparked a fans’ revolt which looks like killing off the show.
Diehard fans are planning on boycotting any future series because they reckon the result was rigged.
Ulrika, 41, left the nation stunned as she took the crown on Friday night.
She was a big outsider behind favourite Verne Troyer, 40, who left the house in fourth place.
Even Ulrika herself believed the result had been tampered with. On hearing the news she said: “No way, it’s a fix.”
And the show’s army of fans agree. They have lashed out at the result because Ulrika was never one of the favourites from the moment the show started three weeks ago.
Our phones rang off the hook and hundreds of readers sent in texts and emails about the “fix” as soon as Ulrika won. And one online forum, with 120,000 members, saw her poll just 10%.
One user said: “The whole show is a joke now. Next year we should all boycott it and then it will finally get the axe.
“Ulrika winning the show is just plain impossible. I can only think the result was hijacked by a betting syndicate.”
Fans fear that so few people are voting that it is easy for big-time gamblers to rig the vote.
And they reckon bosses at the Channel 4 show can edit their footage to make anyone a star.
This year they axed the 24-hour live streaming, which meant the public only got to see the footage telly chiefs wanted them to see.
Everything else was left on the cutting room floor.
It meant that they could make any of the celebrities look good and deliberately make others look boring.
The show’s launch night was watched by 6.4million but just half that figure watched Friday’s final.
While fans were shocked, TV insiders say they only have themselves to blame.
One said: “It’s not rocket science. Vote or don’t moan if your favourite misses out.”
A Big Brother spokesman declined to comment last night.
I bet the people didnt even vote who are complaining, of they didnt its there problem and they should shut up

WARRING Celebrity Big Brother housemates turned the end-of-series party into a terrifying shambles.
Only six of the 11 contestants showed up amid fears the bitter rows in the house would spill over into the bash.
Liberty X babe Michelle Heaton, 28, was too scared to go after a bitter confrontation with gobby Scouser Tina Malone on the final night.
Four others also stayed away, refusing to celebrate Ulrika Johnsson’s triumph after the blonde Swede had been unpopular with housemates throughout their three-week stay in the house.
Even Celebrity Big Brother telly host Davina McCall, 41, did not attend.
Michelle, 28, was desperate to avoid Tina Malone, 45, who reduced her to tears with a verbal attack moments after the final.
Tina told viewers of Big Brother’s Big Mouth: “I may be fat, but I can lose weight. Michelle will always be thick.”
When Michelle asked for an apology, the Shameless star told her to “******* off”.
One insider said: “Michelle has not forgiven Tina for the way she was spoken to and Tina is not the sort of person to say sorry. It’s probably best they are kept apart.”
Sexy Michelle was also avoiding sex bully Coolio, 45.
Terry Christian, 45, and pal Tommy Sheridan, 44, who bitched about Ulrika in the house, snubbed the party in London on Monday night.
Despite staying in the capital to flog his story for a six-figure sum, Hollywood actor Verne Troyer, 40, failed to show, as did La Toya Jackson, 52.
A show insider said: “It was the worst turnout we have ever had for a BB party. Usually it’s a time to let your hair down but clearly many people still have unresolved issues.”
But Ulrika, 41, was all smiles as she arrived with husband Brian Monet.
Former Sugababe Mutya Buena, 23, turned up in a red minidress while Daily Star babe Lucy Pinder, 25, opted for a sexy black number.
Coolio, Tina and A1 hunk Ben Adams, 27, all attended the do.
Yesterday, it was revealed that Scottish politician Tommy is to face trial on perjury charges in connection with a newspaper defamation case.

What a bunch of petty sods. I wouldn't have backed Ulrika to win but she did so good luck to her. If so-called celebs what to be childish and snub a free party let them.
This year's Celebrity Big Brother, which saw rapper Coolio the focus of many complaints, did not breach broadcasting rules, Ofcom has found.
The regulator received 527 complaints about the show, eventually won by Ulrika Jonsson, the majority relating to viewers feeling that housemates had been bullied.
This year's show, broadcast in January, saw complaints about the manner in which Coolio behaved towards women in the house, including former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton.
The regulator said: "It appeared clear to viewers that Coolio enjoyed baiting and teasing female housemates. However, when Coolio teased Michelle for allegedly having feelings for another housemate (Ben Adams) she became very upset.
"Sensing he had hit a nerve, Coolio continued to tease her about it."
Ofcom said that Big Brother talked to Michelle and Coolio separately in the Diary Room and Michelle appeared comforted.
Coolio appeared genuinely disconcerted when told that some of his behaviour could be seen as intimidating, the regulator found.
The pair apologised to each other and the feud was settled.
Ofcom said: "In Ofcom's view Coolio was a 'larger than life' character in the house, playing the role for many viewers of the 'villain of the piece' where such a role, after 10 years of Big Brother, is generally expected by the audience."
Channel 4 welcomed the ruling about this year's show, saying in a statement: "Conflicts can arise within the Big Brother House, but both the producers and commissioning editors encourage housemates to work differences out amongst themselves initially."
The Mirror
