Corrie star Ian Reddington is dreaming of a Christmas No 1 - with a love song from the soap.
His character Vernon Tomlin sings a love-struck tribute to estranged wife Liz McDonald, played by Bev Callard.

And dad-of-three Ian, 50, is in talks to release the song.
He said: \"I've been blown away by the response to the song which was written by Street scriptwriters. There are talks to see if we can release it in time for Christmas. It would be fantastic to see it at No 1.\"
Music for the song was written by Roy Stride from Scouting For Girls, while Corrie writer Carmel Morgan penned the lyrics.
