Nut shoots at Bill stars

TERRIFIED stars of The Bill dived for cover as a GUNMAN fired on them while they were filming.

Real-life police rushed to protect the TV cops — including Sgt June Ackland, played by Trudie Goodwin, Insp Gina Gold, played by Roberta Taylor, and PC Reg Hollis, actor Jeff Stewart.

Thankfully all are okay. I think this may put an end to visits to the set for precautionary reasons and I wouldn't blame them if they did stop this regular practice at least for the time being.
