Has anyone tried hypnotherapy? I'm thinking of giving it a go for anxiety problems.

My friend tried for fear of flying, she successfully went to Malta and even Australia, she said she was not totally at ease but enough not to panic. Without it she would not have boarded a plane. I have never had it myself though. Good luck if you go for it, I don't think it will do any harm.

My dad had it for smoking and he's never smoked since. I guess it works for some and not for others. Worth trying it though :)

I had hypnotherapy and NLP to give up smoking and that was 4 years ago - I've not touched one since, nor had a desire to after 15 years of smoking.

My dad had hypnotherapy twice to stop smoking but it didn't work. It worked for my aunty though.

I had the combined NLP with hypno which really helped - hypnotherapy only works for a few days, my therapist said. After about 2 weeks - its all down to the individual

Neuro-linguistic programming.

Its like a form of counselling in a sense.
