Monday 25th August - Olympic Return:
Tragedy strikes Summer Bay as Martha and Jack's special day ends in heartbreak. Waking from unconsciousness, Roman finds himself trapped in a deadly situation.

Tuesday 26th August:
A race against time begins as Alf heads the search party for the missing, and Roman works on a plan to stop Elliot.

Wednesday 27th August:
With a storm front on its way to Summer Bay, time is running out for the search party. Meanwhile, we learn what has happened to the missing Rachel.

Thursday 28th August:
Things reach a climax as Belle discovers who is holding Rachel captive. Kirsty is stressed about getting the Social Worker's looming visit.

Friday 29th August:
Kirsty begins to question Bartlett's generosity. Aden's devastated when Belle breaks things off. Rachel strikes out as she comes to terms with her situation.

Some more spoilers from Throng

Monday- Jack watches on helplessly as doctors attempt to revive Martha. Can she be saved or has poor Jack lost his wife just a few hours after marring her? Concerned that Roman, Nicole and Geoff have all gone missing Charlie sends out a search party.

Tuesday- Romans hunt for Nicole come to a standstill as he tries to avoid triggering Elliot's trip wire. The ex-soldier grabs the chance to make a getaway with his captive, leaving Roman for dead. Shortly after, however, Roman hears an explosion and it seems someone else has met their end.

Wednesday- Aden told Belle he was staying with his aunt down the coast, but when they speak on the phone, she hears a thunder crash outside and down the line. We finally learn what happened to Rachel.

Thursday- Kirsty is stressed out about the social worker who's coming to check on Ollie's welfare. Miles convinces her to take a relaxing stroll, but it's a decision that she comes to regret. Belle is terrified after learning what Aden's been up to. Is he deranged? :eek:

Friday- Kirsty confesses to Miles that she feels their relationship is moving far to quickly. When Jai overhears her say that she thinks it would be best if she moved out Summer Bay house, he tries his best to change her mind. Aden is shocked when a ghost from his past returns :hmm:

She doesn't unfortunately. Jody has been seen filming with a headscarf on so I guess that the baby dies and Martha has the chemo.

I'm really missing H&A too, the spoilers look great for the next couple of weeks.

Despite all the Olympic action, the past few weeks must have seemed an eternity for Summer Bay's armchair residents. Elliot (the always excellent Paul Pantano - drama producers, give this guy more work) has been up to no good and made Roman drink a nasty concoction in order to save Nicole. And it's from here the soapie takes a turn towards high-octane action.

Roman wakes up dangling upside down over a cliff, legs bound. From there he is challenged to escape. He does, slowly dragging himself up, only to be hunted through the forest by an off-the-planet Elliot armed with a bow.

Home And Away has it's ups and downs, but this episode is really a peak for the soapie. Pace and direction are superb, and it's a fair bet that more than a few older brothers will find themselves sucked into the battle as they wander through the family room.
