Anyone watch this tonight? What did people think?

I thought it was alright actually, not a patch on the actual 'Spooks', but still very decent. The acting isn't great, but I like the stories in both episodes and the action is really good and keeps me hooked.

I was really shocked that Joanne Froggat's character died in the first episode! :eek: I really didn't see that coming at all, seeing as she was in charge of the team! That was quite jaw dropping!

I saw this in the tv guide. I've recorded both episodes to watch later. I've never seen Spooks and didn't know it was a spin off series.

No problem, I usually read spoilers before I watch programs anyway. Spoils all the fun but I can't resist.

Just watched the first two episode and I really enjoyed them. I forgot who died so it was still a surprise to me. Two people dead in the space of a minute :eek:

Who do you think is the mole? I think it is the head of field ops, she's the only person who we've seen outside the field officers team.

I'm going to buy season one of Spooks.

Have you seen Spooks before Abigail? I highly recommend Season 1 - it is fantastic.

Hmm not sure who the mole is but it certainly was an ending that entices me to watch the whole series.. I think it is likely it could be the Head of Field op, but it could be a bit too obvious.. will be interesting to see how this unfolds over the coming episodes. :hmm:

I've just watched the third episode and I don't think it's a patch on the original. I got slightly bored with it towards the end, the story this episode wasn't as good as the previous two.

The acting is rubbish and everything seems to move so fast. I'll stick with it to the end of the series.

I think the mole could be Rob. He was acting suss when he got that email and again when the team leader and that lass were discussing OS coordinates :hmm:

I finally got round to watching episode 1 last night. I agree with you Abigail it's not a patch on the real spooks but still a decent drama.

I think this series has got better and better. I've watched the last three episodes tonight and I'm really starting to get into it.

The finale tonight was amazing. I hope there is a second series, I want to know if Rachel survives and if the bomb goes off.

We never did find out if Rob killed his friend.

It was pretty obvious who the traitor was, Yates was the only person outside of the team and we didn't know much about her. FO19 officers were all newbies so it was unlikely that they were involved.
