Ken and Deirdre row
A stressed out Ken wakes up on the sofa, fully clothed, to the sound of Blanche’s nagging. Poor chap. It's no wonder he's lost his appetite. But things only get worse when a row with Deidre over the book goes too far. Is the Barlows’ marriage on rocky ground, yet again?
Elsewhere, David pulls a sickie in the hopes he can make amends with Tina.
And Ryan comes home from holiday to find Michelle and Steve at loggerheads.

Getting increasingly frustrated, Ken compares some of his favourite literature to his own writing skills and doesn’t like what he sees. But will he find some inspiration at the bottom of a bottle?
At the Rovers, Steve panics when Jason demands to have a word with him. Does Jason know about his night with Becky? And finally, Becky invites Michelle on a night out with her, Sean and Marcus.

Determined not to move out of the Morton family home, devious Teresa's plan threatens to harm the children.
