Recommend Your Shows

Ok so i thought I'd start a thread where we can recommend shows to other members, ones that we love but aren't that well known.

For example I've been watching a lot of American dramas recently, not necessarily the big ones, but they are brilliant, and they aren't shown on the main channels over here so many people miss out on them! Or shows that aren't on tv anymore, that some of us may have missed first time round, and worth checking out repeats of or getting on dvd!

Weeds - It's such a clever comedy drama, about a widowed housewife who is forced to grow/sell cannabis to provide for her family. Really good show.

Dexter - It's been about a bit here, but at a lame time of night on ITV1. Really good show, well written and such a good main character, getting into the mind of a serial killer - genius.

The Sopranos - Yes, you've probably all heard about it, but have you watched it? Many hail it the best drama ever, and to be fair it's up there with the best of them, really good show.

So yeah, if you can get a copy of these shows, or download them or buy them on dvd, i trust you, you wont be disapointed.

So down to you guys - recommend your shows.

Moonlight :D
It was on living, but its now finished - catch it on sky or the internet some time.
Mick; a vampire whos a private investigator, he is also good looking ;) A news reporter; Beth, somehow finds herself and Mick's lines crossing more than once, is it just a coincidence?! And is that Mick's ex-vampire-wife who was killed?

Brilliant show, for me personally, although some people might find it too dark.

here are some to start with!

Supernatural
Two brothers (who are very easy on the eye!!) fight supernatural events to find out what killed their mother.

Prison Break
Wentworth Miller (yum!) gets himself locked up so he can help his brother escape from prison.

Jouneyman
A man who can time travel goes back in time to help people. Excellent series, don’t know why they didn’t do a second!

Lost
Still watching this – although it is starting to drag now.

Desperate Housewives
This has so many storylines in it you never get bored, i think the humour is very well done as well. Based around the lives of those who live on Wysteria Lane.

Californication
Hilarious series with David Duchonvy. He plays a writer who tried to juggle a relationship with his ex wife, daughter and several other women.....

Heroes
Lots of people with different special powers!!

Hells Kitchen USA
The USA one because they still have Gordon Ramsey in it!

Reaper
Sam’s parents sold his soul to the devil when he was born and now he has to help the devil capture spirits that have escaped from hell. Hilarious show...second season starts soon!!
