by reading other threads (in particular the one about max or paddy -sorry JACK having a gun and it being suggested they wipe out several characters in the process) here is a thread where you can write openly about who needs to go and why!:cheer:

Ben Mitchell - can't act to save his life.
Abi - acts like a spoiled brat and can't act.
Gary - pointless
Heather - ^
Minty - ^^
Patrick - Not really had any great story lines of late (may as well rid him as they're getting rid of Yolande).
Charlie - Same as Patrick really, lost his role a bit when the last Slater girl went.
Ian - Been on show for too long (not that I don't like him, just let somebody else have the story lines).
Denise - Sort of lost her meaning now Kevins died.
Terrence - Very rearly see the walking duster around nowadays, may as well get rid of her (the dog).
Garry - Again no real great story lines of late, would be nice to have someone for him to settle down with.

I would get rid of the poison dwarf. Never could stand her and her beetroot son, Minty and Gary total waste of space the both of them. Rickaayyy sorry Sid but you have had three tries at attempting to act on EE and three times you've failed. It's time to admit you can't act for toffee so give up and go and get a job in Aldi's. Can't really commet on many others as I don't watch the soap that much.

No, I still watch the show, and like any TV show there are characters you like and ones you dont...bit like in real life. I still watch the show and I think it has improved over the last couple of years, but there's still room for improvement!!! :)

More attention should be paid on the Masood family! They are a great family! I am sick of all the attention being on the Mitchells - it's getting boring now, they are being overused.

with a cast re-think me'thinks:hmm:A root and branch revamp is required. Tired old sterotypical and pointless characters who no-one really cares about, rehashed depressing and violent storylines.
I would keep Jean and a lot of the old characters like Dot and Pat.. I think that Shirley was a fantastic addition to the show..

I am in agreement with Shiv here , I can not get BBC3 in Holland and I would be CRUSHED:crying: :crying: If they moved EE from BBC1..Even tho they have had some rubbish story lines and some really crap characters , I still love the show:D
Dont worry Jodi. I cant see the Beeb moving EE to BBC3. That was probably just wishful thinking on my part. I know it still has its fans. Unfortunately I am no longer one of them nor it would appear are a few other members.

Same, Dave. I couldn't stand them at first but they've really grown on me. I loved the way Shabnham saw potential in not working for Ian and I can't wait to see what happens next for the family. Having Shabnam find out about the fire how she did really allowed Zainab and her to shine as characters.
Phil is now added to my hitlist; even when he gave Ben permission to dance at Roxy's party it almost seemed like he was mocking it.

For some reason I've found Max more tolerable since he's been back, but not all of the time. I guess he isn't such a slimy cheat any more because he doesn't have anyone to cheat on. I don't like Jack and Tanya as a couple at all but I like the fact that it gets to Max and the remarks he makes about it.

And they really stick together no matter what. Love mum and dad together they are great.
The entire Jackson clan & Ricky - pointless them coming back - even if there is this storyline soon for them, I never liked them before, so god knows why they brought them back. The very definition of chavs. :sick:

Ricky + Minty, time for them to leave as there's nothing left for them.
Vinnie - never liked him from the start.
Darren + Libby - can't they just do a romeo & juliet and kill one another?
All in all Eastenders has a good cast atm, with a lot of dead wood gone. They just need to work on some of the characters, giving them some new love interests and family etc to bounce off. Bring in a few more characters that actually have an impact on the show. Ronnie & Roxy have been brilliant this past year, and show that you can introduce characters they aren't just thrown away after a few weeks in the limelight.

I can't agree about Masood. I think he is a great character. Funny but very understanding and wise. His relationship with his wife is one of the best ever written in Eastenders. Tamwar is a bit boring but he is a vital part of the family dynamic. As most others have said now, they are one of the best families to move in to Albert Square in a long time.
At least the Masoods are better than the Borerrias and bet the producers didnt spend as much money flying to Goa for their research

and id get rid of denise and lucas cos if im getting rid of chelsea and libby i dont think theres any need for those 2 either although they dont annoy me as much as those in the list above
also, i wouldnt axe him but id recast ben. i dont wanna be too mean cos hes only a kid but charlie jones is a crap actor. i dont think the character of ben necessarily needs to be axed but they definitely need to replace the actor imo
also im still trying to decide whether lucy should go. the character is so annoying atm but id rather she changed slightly (though only if it was realistic) than was axed
