Is Phil back on the booze I wonder???
Max and Ronny - for heaven's sake have the Mitchell's and Brannings not been done to death - I am sick of every story revolving around these people:wall: The are getting rid of Honey a great character and still giving these all the storylines - remember the Slaters when they started, everything revolved around them and where are they now - everyone of them left.

more detailed spoilers in case anyones interested:
monday
Peggy and Archie are all loved up but they're aware that not everyone's pleased for them. Peggy shows off her engagement ring to Shirley, but Phil's not impressed in the slightest. Shirley fishes for more information about Suzy and with Phil threatening to move out, Peggy worries that she's going to lose Ben. Archie arranges a meal for the family and a drunken Ronnie warns Peggy about her father.
Peggy invites Suzy to the family dinner, while Phil is concerned about the lack of authority he seems to have in the house. Ben excitedly explains to Peggy about his dance show and tells her how much he likes being with her and Archie. Peggy then begins to worry that Phil may have changed his mind. When Archie arrives back with the shopping, he menacingly shows Ronnie his watch and asks her if she remembers it. As the memories comes flooding back, there's a hint of something in Ronnie's eye - is he beginning to chip away at her armour?
Over the meal, Ronnie refuses to play happy families with Archie, while Phil is still acting strangely. An argument sparks between Ronnie and her father when she confronts him over his real motives for being in Walford. Downstairs in the bar, Phil becomes increasingly agitated by Sean, prompting him to smash a champagne bottle and punch Sean. Peggy's furious and immediately calls off the engagement.
Elsewhere, Clare and Stacey row over Bradley; Garry's not impressed with Minty; Tamwar makes use of Peter's laptop; Phil struggles to accept Ben's interests; Suzy begins to get her feet under the table at The Vic; Ronnie tells Ben that he must stand up to Phil; and Clare continues to feel sorry for herself.
tuesday
Peggy's fuming following last night's anarchy, while Roxy's up in arms about Phil punching Sean. Suzy, meanwhile, tries to diffuse the whole situation. Upstairs, Peggy takes off her engagement ring and tells Archie that she doesn't know what she was thinking at her age. Archie admits defeat to Phil and promises to leave, but not before they all have one last supper.
The Mitchells gather for a meal and the atmosphere is tense. Phil clashes with Ben when he eventually turns up at the table and Ben tells everyone that he hopes he'll be nothing like his dad with he grows up. Archie makes a toast to Roxy and Sean and to the health of his forthcoming grandchild. He then produces a cheque for £10,000, while Ronnie begins laying into Archie before storming off and packing a bag.
Phil becomes more aggressive towards Ben around the table and hits the roof when he realises that he's been hiding food in his napkin. He drags him from the table and threatens to teach him a lesson.
Elsewhere, Peter helps out the Masoods with the catering business; Vinnie has a heart-to-heart with Heather about Shirley; Suzy contemplates hiding her pink handbag in the Arches; Minty tells Heather that she and Shirley have to move out; Ian confronts Peter about helping the Masoods with their catering business; Max offers Suzy a room for the night; and Suzy heads to the allotments, digs a big hole and tips the contents of her handbag inside.
thursday
Phil has a captive audience as he recalls the horrors of his childhood in that he was allegedly abused by his father. Peggy begs him to stop talking about this in front of Ben, but he continues. Ben returns to his room and takes off his hearing aid in the hope of blocking out his dad's outburst. Roxy fails to calm Phil down and he heads for Ben's room.
Archie stands up to Phil - he'll have to get through him before he hurts Ben. He goes on to explain that being handy with your fists is a Mitchell trait - he and Phil's father (Archie's brother) Eric were treated the same way by their grandfather. Meanwhile, Peggy sits sobbing in the kitchen.
It's stuffy in The Vic and Roxy heads into the loft to find an old fan, while Ronnie accuses Archie of using Phil to get into Peggy's good books. Out on the landing, a cry is heard - Roxy's fallen down the step ladders. Everyone rushes to see she's OK, which she is. Ronnie and Roxy move to the kitchen to talk about Archie and Peggy's romance.
Meanwhile, Ben has his sights set on staying over at Ian's - he just wants a father figure he can look up to. It's not until Phil finally admits to Ben that he was there the other week and saw his performance. Fighting back the tears, he finally admits to Ben just how important he is. Ronnie, meanwhile, makes it clear to Archie that he's not wanted in Walford. As he's packing his things, Phil interrupts and tells him he can stay. Peggy's over the moon and it looks like the engagement's back on…
And in the second of tonight's episodes...
Dot and Bradley are concerned about Clare as she doesn't seem happy and is drinking a lot. Bradley's apprehensive, but Dot feels she can help. Dot's been to see the vicar and on her return, she talks with Clare. Dot hands her a Christianity leaflet in the hope it might offer her some guidance but Clare's having none of it. Dot regrets offering Clare the leaflet, but Bradley's mad at the way Clare's treated Dot and her house.
Later, Lucas talks with Clare and warns her that if she carries on the way she is, it'll be an empty existence. With his words in mind, Clare begins to read Dot's leaflet again. When Bradley returns home, Clare's reading the leaflet and on the table lies a card and flowers for Dot. Bradley tells her exactly what he thinks of her. After he's gone, Clare takes another look at the leaflet and lets it fall to the ground. Dot returns and finds a note with £100 attached to it. Bradley confesses that he and Clare had a row before she left and when he reads the note, it's clear that it's a goodbye letter from Clare.
Meanwhile, Peggy's woken up by Ronnie playing her radio excessively loud. When asked how she feels about the engagement, Ronnie makes it clear that she's not happy about the situation, warning Peggy that she'll soon find out what Archie's really like. Archie assures Peggy that Ronnie will come around to the idea, while Ronnie tries to convince Phil that Archie's taking Peggy for a ride. Phil, however, just thinks she's jealous.
Elsewhere, Suzy attempts to dig up the contents of her handbag but is interrupted by Patrick, who jumps to conclusions; Masood puts his family's takeaway menus in with the post he's delivering; Max realises it would have been his and Tanya's 14th wedding anniversary; Masood has a run-in with Ian; Lucas reveals to Chelsea that he once tried to take his own life; Suzy enquires about a spare room at Dot's; and Max and Ronnie go for a meal together and the pair soon return to the B&B.
friday
Dot's cleaning frantically around the house in an attempt to block out Bradley, who's talking about Jim's upcoming birthday. Worried about her, Bradley asks Stacey to have a word with her. Dot's annoyed when she opens her front door to find rubbish all over the pavement outside the house and Wellard destroying a black bin liner. As Dot becomes embroiled in an argument with Bianca, Stacey sees the commotion and takes a distressed Dot back inside. As Stacey chats to her, it soon becomes clear that she feels like she's failed Jim.
Later, Stacey manages to persuade Dot to bake a cake for Jim but Dot goes mad when she realises that she doesn't have the correct ingredients. When Stacey returns from the shop, she sees Dot putting the finishing touches to a perfect cake. Dot's distraught, however, when she sees that her cake has collapsed. Bradley returns to find the kitchen in chaos. Stacey's worried about Dot, but Bradley tells her not to worry - he's bringing Jim home tomorrow for his birthday.
Meanwhile, Ian corners Masood in the Minute Mart and asks him if he's spoken to Zainab about his partnership offer. When Masood tells Ian exactly how Zainab feels about him, Ian's determined not to give up and offers them a little sweetener - a roll of £20 notes. As Masood and Zainab decide what to do with the money, Shabnam sits on a bench and opens a parcel containing some travel books. Ian finds a curry on his doorstep from 'Masala Masood' and when Ian and Christian open it, they find the curry full of £20 notes...
Elsewhere, Suzy asks Max for some money to buy their father Jim a birthday present; Bradley finds himself working in the salon; Ricky, Bianca and the kids return from their holiday; Archie tells Ricky that he'll have to find somewhere else to stay; Bradley's struggling in the salon and Suzy comes to the rescue; and Peggy takes pleasure in announcing the date of her and Archie's wedding - March 21!
