How many people do you have on MSN? Do you know them all? Do you talk to them all?

I changed my MSN a few months ago, so everyone on my MSN are people i know. A big spring clean, i guess.

I have well over 300 people, it might be 400.
I know them all. Whether they are old friends, new friends, people I have spoke to only a few times at college but are friends of friends.
Then there are people from this site and a lost site :p

I have 221 contacts but I have had the same MSN account since I was 11 and I have kept the same contacts since then and I have never had a spring clean. My contacts are people from school who I generally know, my close friends, friends of friends who I have met at school socials, from here and two other chat sites I go on. Some of my contacts are duplicates though so I really do need a spring clean, for example my friend has like 3 different MSN addresses!

I had a huge clearout of my msn a while ago, people who added me and never talked, people who i dont want to chat to anymore just coz dont have anything to chat to them about and people who annoy me! Now my list is a lot smaller, although will be changing my addy soon as im getting a load of random wierdos trying to add me! god only knows where they have come from!

It can be updated :) I updated mine not long ago. Hope this helps :) Just go on google and type in Windows Live Messenger or somehting :)

I have 409 contacts precisely. I've had my email address since the start of comp though so some aren't used. SOme are people I jsut don't even know. I'd say I speak to about 50 people tops that I know properly from school and dancing and my old friends and that :)

I have *counts on fingers* 336. I have had the same email adress since I was 9 though! I have know all them at some point, just forget who they are now! I never delete any though, like when someone gets a new email address I can't be bothered to trawl through it all and delete it!

Oh yeah, and I use the classic version too! hehe Windows Live gave me a virus :(

I had 400 odd people then i had a big clear out and i'm now left with 139 people and i only talk to about handful of those cause of fall outs and so on. They're friends i've met through bebo, friends i've known since primary, a certain ex boyfriend who i still talk to:rolleyes: and people off here :)

That's one of the reasons that I don't use MSN, there are sooo many arguements between my friends on there. Because you can't hear how people are saying things, loads of people take stuff the wrong way.

I feel like a real loner now with my 38 contacts (had a recount). I talk to about four people when I can be bothered to go on.

I get random people adding me. I used to go on yahoo chatrooms a few years ago and since then I get loads of people adding me every so often, even though I haven't been on yahoo in over a year.

You have to be so careful what you say and you never actually know how people are taking it on the other side and what their reactions are.

I have quite a few on Facebook - which I'm glad I joined as I've recently gotten in touch with 4 of my cousins who I've not seen for over 7 years!

On bebo though, I have over 600. Of them I know around 100-200. Friends, family, people from some Celine Dion concerts and such.

i dont have many people on msn, about 40 i think on my actual account, i just dont see the need to have people on there who i dont really talk to. on facebook though i have almost 300 friends and they are all people i know. on my other msn that i use to talk to people on here i probably have about 30/40 contacts though loads are old accounts and stuff, i should have a clean up really

I have finally sat down and deleted hundreds of names on AIM, YAHOO, MSN , AND myspace,, reasons are simple, people wanted me on their friends list for what???? for numbers, and not really to talk to me, so these streamlined lists are nice,, I have had only one person jump up and ask me why I removed them ( last time I recall speaking on IM with that person was probably 2 yrs ago,, and tbh I had totally forgotten who this person was.
I only accept people now who will actually have a conversation with me. If I do not talk to a person that added me to their friends list in a month or so, I delete them and block them, I do not have time for locusts. Sound harsh ?? yea probably..but it works for me , I have been on the internet since 1995.. so yea I think I have been around the block for some time now LOL

I like your idea as well Jodi. I did have a bit of a spring clean but I still have people on my contact list that I never talk too or I've only spoken to once since they've added me. Out of the 200 that I have on my list, I have properly spoken to all of them at one point, but I only speak to about 50 of them on a regular basis .. so maybe I should do what you did Jodi. :D It's a good idea.

Someone added me.. Harley Kemal.. and then I said 'who are u' and he goes 'im kemal'.. and then I go 'how did you get my addy?' and he goes 'i dont remember'.. I just said something :rolleyes: and then blocked and deleted him!

I've had people like that before who have added me, I say "how did you get my addy?" and they say "I don't remember" - what a silly response, if they added you, they will know where they got your addy from! ...an even worse reply I got was "How did you get my addy?" ...maybe I got your addy because you added me. :rolleyes: :D

I get turkish people wanting to be on my list, now I can see by the names beforehand and I automatically deny and block them,,also people say they found my e mail address on some ones forwarding e mail or said they found me thru some deaf group,, i have streamlined my MSN bud list down from 137 to 42
