FUMING Corrie bosses had to re-shoot scenes — because Jack P Shepherd wore a rude T-shirt.

Cheeky Jack — villainous teen David Platt — wore a garment emblazoned with the words ‘Schwetty Nuts’.

The naughty T-shirt, which breaches TV guidelines, made it on to one episode with Jack’s character wearing it in the kebab shop and his screen gran Audrey’s hair salon.

He had it on again during filming of scenes due out next Monday.

A source said: “It was spotted by our compliance department, who look for anything that breaches guidelines.

“They then made us go back and re-shoot the entire episode. It airs on Monday, so we were cutting everything very fine.

“The knock-on effect is incredible because everyone is now running behind.”

A Corrie spokesman said: “Jack’s T-shirt was picked up by compliance before we went on air. We had to reschedule a few scenes.”

David Platt is renowned as The Street’s biggest trouble maker.

He nearly killed his little niece Bethany with drugs, pushed mum Gail (Helen Worth) down the stairs and did time after elbowing a woman cop. He was released last month.

What a tube he has been on the show long enough surely he must know the rules on what is appropraite to wear while filming. He should be fined for wasting time.

Hmm shouldn't the directors and people have noticed it anyway? I mean if someone has something written on their shirt, you generally look at it. And isn't it the costume designer who decides/helps the actors and actresses on the show what to wear? I don't think it was just his own decision just to wear that shirt, so it's not all his fault for the holding up of the filming.
