Abra continues to have flashbacks from his time in the Congo, as the medical drama continues. Ric's promotion is on the line if Abra doesn't straighten himself out, but he is pushed to the limit when Carl Webster, the "patient from hell", makes a visit to Holby with his daughter.
Maddy, meanwhile, gets the result she wants when she finds out that Linden wasn't responsible for Liam Harris's death.
Abra later loses his temper with Webster's daughter, but his mind starts to play tricks on him and he ends up accidentally attacking Ric with a scalpel.
Abra is played by Adrian Edmondson, Ric by Hugh Quarshie and Maddy by Nadine Lewington.
