i cant get up the page on the apple site to download i tunes

It should be automatic, although you can set it so it doesn't do anything until you say so. Just plug it in, wait for iTunes to load up by itself, and then either click on sync iPod or it may just start doing it by itself. Have you already put your mp3s etc. onto iTunes?

Ejected? what are you trying to do to make it say that??
Can you screen shot your itunes player at all so i can see what you have done and also the summary screen
You weren't supposed to plug the iPod in before you downloaded the program.
And to sync you should click file and find the sync option within that.
