Liverpool band The Wombats have signed up to appear in an episode of Australian soap Neighbours.
The 'Backfire At The Disco' rockers are the first British act to perform on the show.
The cameo will feature the group playing singles 'Kill The Director' and 'Let's Dance To Joy Division' at Charlie's Bar.
It will air in the UK later this year.
The band will film their Ramsay Street appearance during a tour of Australia in August.
Former Neighbours stars including Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Delta Goodrem, Holly Valance and Craig McLachlan have all achieved varying degrees of success in the music industry.
