SOME of our best loved stars face the annual indignity of the Christmas panto after this year’s soapland massacre.

Stars can’t do panto while appearing in soaps.

So after being axed, EastEnders’ Emma Barton (Honey Mitchell) will be free to play Snow White in Canterbury.

Her former co-star Joe Swash — who is to bow out as Mickey Miller this month — is to put his cheeky charms to use as Buttons in Cinderella.

Poor old David Spinx, who plays Mickey’s hairy dad Keith, has a starring role in Jack and the Beanstalk.

Corrie’s Ian Reddington (Vernon Tomlin) is also heading for panto ...

“Where are your soap careers?”

“They’re behind you!”

lol, that made me laugh, where are you soap careers there behind you.

I'm not a big fan of panto. Theres usually a few corrie stars in the opera house up here, i try and avoid them.

They get really good money being in Panto though. I remember reading that a former Neighbours heart-throb did Panto the year he left (can't remember who it was) and he was getting paid £5k a week.

i think once any actor does panto they've sold out and can blow any chances of a sucessful career goodbye. panto is the lowest of the low really, for washed up talentless dregs of the celebrity world!
