ANY chance of Alfie Moon making a shock return to Walford has been dashed — by Shane Richie.

Market trader Alfie left EastEnders at Christmas 2005.

However, last month EastEnders fans were given a hint that Richie, 44, may return after revealing he’d love to be back in the soap.

But last night, Richie confirmed he had no plans to return and had not begged to be recast in the show.
