Claire thinks she's found a lifeline
Airs on Monday, June 23 2008 at 19:30 BST on ITV1
Liam is already bored being stuck at home with only Ozzy for company and he notices that Carla is late opening up the factory. Maria is concerned that he is going to regret selling his share of the business. Meanwhile, Carla warns Tony that she expects him to be more than a silent partner. She is also less than impressed when she discovers he has got Rosie organising travel arrangements which have nothing to do with Underworld. Will Carla regret trading Liam for Tony?
Chaos reigns at number 4 as the Websters and Peacocks battle for space getting ready for work. With only one bathroom to go round, it is becoming increasingly clear that the house share is not going to work. Claire, however, has other things on her mind when a clear out of the loft at number 13 unearths what looks like an original Lowry painting.
Michelle is beginning to suspect Steve has something to hide and decides to tackle Lloyd about it. It soon becomes clear, however, that Lloyd is trying to avoid her - and Carla is convinced Steve has been unfaithful. Michelle is determined to give him the benefit of the doubt, but she's determined to get to the bottom of what he and Lloyd have been up to.
Maria thinks a new job could be the making of David but Audrey smells a rat when his prospective employer rings up to check a reference she definitely did not write. Will Ted confess to being behind the forged reference?
Michelle plies Lloyd for information about Steve
Airs on Monday, June 23 2008 at 20:30 BST on ITV1
Cornered by Michelle in the cab, Lloyd tries to tell her that she is over reacting, but she insists she is not going anywhere until he tells her the truth about what Steve got up to. He soon realises a straight denial isn't working but stalls her by admitting he knows something and arranges to meet up later.
As a terrified Becky strains to overhear the conversation later in the café she is relieved when Lloyd makes up a **** and bull story about Steve blowing five grand in the casino. Michelle is not convinced, however, especially when she can’t find any evidence of the casino loss on Steve's credit card bill. When she tackles him on the phone later, he denies ever being near a casino - leaving her more determined than ever to get to the bottom of what has gone on.
Audrey is furious with Ted for forging David's reference and tells him that she is going to ring the other salon and tell them what has gone on. David and Ted try to appeal to her better nature but Audrey is determined not to back down - will David keep his job?
Tony tells Carla that he has set them a target to retire five years from now and that he has a master plan to enable them to do it. He wants to expand Underworld and combine their two businesses to cut down on overheads. Carla is interested but when he tells her he thinks they should buy up the garage and paper shop to free up enough space for expansion, Carla thinks he is moving a bit too fast.
Ashley thinks it would be immoral to keep any profit from the sale of the painting but Claire decides to do some research and now he can't help seeing pound signs, especially when she reveals it was in the loft before the Websters bought the house.
Teresa and Rosie come to blows
Airs on Wednesday, June 25 2008 at 19:30 BST on ITV1
TX time and date TBC.
Ted asks to stay at Audrey's tonight, but she is less than impressed when he tells her that David and Tina are having a party. He assures her that he trusts them and doesn't see what harm it can do. But things start to go wrong when the guest list almost doubles and the noise starts to wind up Teresa Morton.
Furious at the loud music, she steams into the party and breaks Tina's mp3 player. Rosie makes the mistake of insulting Jerry, and Teresa drags her by her hair out onto the Street where she has to be rescued by Sally and Kevin. As David surveys the state of the house, he realises the party was not one of his best ideas.
Michelle is now convinced that Steve has slept with someone but Carla points out that until he returns from Spain, the only person who knows what's happened is Lloyd. Michelle, however, is sure that Eileen knows very well what has gone on.
Eileen denies any knowledge, leaving Michelle even more frustrated until Liz unknowingly makes a casual remark about how well Steve and Leanne get on. Michelle thinks she has stumbled upon the truth.
Claire and Ashley are gutted when Ken tells them that the 'Lowry' painting is likely to be a copy, especially when Sally insists that if it had been real, it would have been a sake of finders keepers.
Elsewhere, Teresa seems determined to play nursemaid to Jerry.
Michelle sacks Leanne
Airs on Friday, June 27 2008 at 19:30 BST on ITV1
It is the morning after the night before and David and Tina survey the wreckage of the house - not quite sure how to break the news to Ted and Audrey. Meanwhile, Sally and Kevin are still furious with Teresa for her attack on Rosie and demand an apology. Dev is unsympathetic with Amber, who is suffering from a hangover.
Michelle is brooding, having convinced herself that Steve cheated on her with Leanne. As the day goes on, she gets more and more angry until she finally sees red when she hears Leanne chatting on the phone to Steve.
Later, when she walks into the bar and everyone stops talking, she thinks there is a conspiracy and when she sees Lloyd and Leanne chatting, she flips and sacks her. How will Leanne react to the accusation that she slept with Steve?
It's Jason's birthday and he is surprised to receive a card from Becky. She is disappointed when it doesn't result in a date, but she plays it cool when Roy quizzes her.
Elsewhere, Claire and Ashley are not enjoying lodging in their former home.
Lloyd stuns Michelle with his revelation
Airs on Friday, June 27 2008 at 20:30 BST on ITV1
Leanne is still furious with Michelle as she heads home with Janice. When Dan discovers what has gone on at the pub he insists on taking Leanne back there to front up Michelle. In front of a packed pub, Dan takes great delight in telling Michelle that Leanne can't have been with Steve as she was at the hospital all night worrying about him.
A shame-faced Michelle can't believe she has made such a fool of herself and Liz takes great delight in the fact that Steve's name has been cleared. Lloyd, meanwhile, is still feeling the pressure as Michelle reverts to pumping him for info.
Desperate to get her off his back, he drops Steve in it by saying the real reason he has been behaving strangely is that he is planning to propose on his return. Will Michelle believe Lloyd this time?
Over at the Platts', Ted's attempts to clean up after the party are having little effect - in fact he has only succeeded in making the stains worse. With Audrey due round to inspect the premises, he and David and Tina have their work cut out.
Vernon is keen to take Liz's mind off the situation with Michelle and Steve and tells her that has come up with an idea of buying their own bar. He is disappointed when she doesn't seem keen but she later relents and he rushes off to make an appointment to view.
Elsewhere, Mel starts to feel left out as Teresa and Jerry are obviously enjoying each other's company.
