So long as Lacey Turner wins Best Newcomer, she derserved to win an award at the Soap Awards but unfortunately was beaten by Sam Ashton in Best Young perfromance. Lacey Turner is an absolute winner.

It's not that bad, and it's got many loyal fans who have stood by it.
Whilst it still brings in the viewers they will never get rid of it no matter what the critics say about it. Look at Emmerdale, that's only survived through the fact it pulls in viewers for ITV.

The only way corrie survives is because of it's comedy! And that's not meant to be what a serial drama is about. Eastenders provides drama, which is true to real-life. Half the comical rubbish that takes place on corrie, would never really happen.

It was him at the time - He was shot, a pm was carried out and the body was identified before the funeral took place. Anyway setting reality aside his comeback was wasted and poorly handled and after his webcam antics the writing was on the wall. Such a pity because in his heyday DEN was one of the strongest characters on EE. I think they are taking a huge gamble on the return of the Mitchells and hope the storylines and writing are up to it.

Well we always knew Peggy and Phil were coming back anyways and Peggy was in the show even up until 2003 as was Phil so it's not like they've been out of it for a very long time. Den was away for ages, I don't think they've destroyed the legend that was Den but I prefer to remember him the first time round.
