Coronation Street actor Craig Charles has revealed his plans to write an autobiography.
The 43-year-old, who has played taxi driver Lloyd Mullaney since 2005, will detail his former £250,000-a-year crack cocaine habit which resulted in his suspension from the ITV soap in June 2006 and subsequent arrest for drug possession in the August.
He returned to the soap in January last year following a seven-month absence after a stint in rehab.
A Weatherfield source told The Mirror: "He will come clean on everything to do with his drug-taking, which he admits almost finished him."
His book, entitled 'On The Rocks', is to be released in November.
