Miles (Ayden Callaghan) worries that Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) will dump him, so Donald (Michael Jayston) hands her a hefty wad of spending money, explaining that she can take care of Miles. This only increases Jasmine's fears and when she expresses these to Jake (James Baxter), Miles gets jealous and accuses Jasmine of only being with him out of pity. At the end of her tether, Jasmine finishes their relationship and watches teary-eyed as Miles leaves for France alone.

Meanwhile, David (Matthew Wolfenden) is quietly impressed when Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) uses his cleaning firm to gain dog sitting clients. The emotional tension between them is clear to see, but they are rudely interrupted by Sharon (Victoria Hawkins). Later, Nicola begins to regret taking on so many new clients as the dogs pull her from pillar to post. David watches in amusement, but is he realising that his feelings for Nicola have returned?

Elsewhere, Viv (Deena Payne) is furious with her legal aid solicitor when he lacks understanding both of her case and her name. When he also advises her to plead guilty, Viv snaps and demands Bob (Tony Audenshaw) pay for a better solicitor. Bob refuses on the grounds that they have no money and leaves Viv worrying for her freedom.

Tuesday 17 June

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) regrets asking Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) for help with the dogs when she mistakenly takes a prize stud to be castrated. Rushing to stop Paddy (Dominic Brunt) completing the operation, Nicola fails to lock her door and the other dogs escape into the village. She soon discovers the doggy disappearance and ropes in David (Matthew Wolfenden) to help retrieve a particularly nasty Alsatian from the B&B. The animal soon overpowers them and the former lovers find themselves locked in a room.

While hiding out, the pair hear Sharon return and David is embarrassed to hear her mocking him. Nicola is infuriated and later marches David to the Woolpack where he publicly dumps Sharon. Blaming Nicola entirely, Sharon launches at her love rival and the blonde bombshells go at it hammer and tongs. After they are pulled apart, David and Nicola retire to Farrars and cement their reunion. Can they put the past behind them and build a dynamic partnership?

Also, Viv's (Deena Payne) hopes are dashed when the judge at her hearing sets a trial date for August. Realising the seriousness of the situation, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) agrees to a better solicitor but explains that it will be at the cost of their businesses. Louise (Emily Symons) tries to help by suggesting she could buy the Post Office and café to keep them in the family but Viv accuses her of wanting to usurp her role. Will the Hopes fall apart as the threat of prison looms?

Meanwhile, Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) returns to work with Val (Charlie Hardwick) quizzing her about Miles. Jake (James Baxter) shows concern about the break-up and there is a clear spark between the pair. Later that day, Donald (Michael Jayston) puts the blame on her if Miles alcoholism should return, leading Jasmine to retaliate and label him a bad father.

Wednesday 18 June

Marlon's (Mark Charnock) excitement at making his television debut is ruined when everyone from Val (Charlie Hardwick) to Jake (James Baxter) tries to muscle in on his spotlight. Meanwhile, Donna (Verity Rushworth) is unhappy about missing her husband's big moment and spends the day on a stakeout with Ross (Samuel Anderson). Pleased to have her to himself, Ross engages Donna in a conversation about their past love lives. As the talk progresses Ross makes it clear that he likes someone at work and under questionning from Donna, he reveals that it's her. Donna is stunned and tells Ross he shouldn't have spoken, but they are interrupted by colleagues on a shift change and go their separate ways. Back home, Donna is thrilled that Marlon's interview slot was a success, but will she confess about her secret admirer?

Elsewhere, the villagers are cynical about David (Matthew Wolfenden) and Nicola's (Nicola Wheeler) reunion. After deciding to rejoin the cleaning business, Nicola sets about putting her strategies into place. A clueless Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) wonder why Nicola isn't at the vets and when she reveals her career change the pair are thrilled. However, when Paddy tells Chas that he needs her on call twenty four hours a day her mood is distinctly tempered.

Meanwhile, Jake (James Baxter) continues to tarry around Marlon during the second day's filming. When he sets his sights on the older female assistant producer, he is delighted to gain her number. Daz (Luke Tittensor) jokes with Jake that it's a fake number and despite his friend's insistence to the contrary, when they dial the number the male cameraman's phone rings.

Thursday 19 June

Donna's (Verity Rushworth) silence about Ross (Samuel Anderson) continues in front of Marlon, and Katie (Sammy Winward) advises her to talk things over with her colleague. At work, the atmosphere is immediately awkward, so Ross makes an apology to Donna. She tells him that she loves Marlon, stinging Ross with her knock back. They agree to stay friends, but will Ross' feelings for Donna dissipate?

Meanwhile, the loan that Val (Charlie Hardwick) gave David (Matthew Wolfenden) causes problems when she refuses to pay her cleaning bill. David complains to his father and Pollard (Chris Chittell) attempts to rectify the situation by promising a potential client an order ahead of schedule. Hearing of the anticipated next day delivery, Val voices her concerns that the factory cannot cope with the order. Will Pollard finally confide his tax problems to his wife?

Elsewhere, Rodney (Patrick Mower) is concerned for his granddaughter when he hears Gabby (Annelise Manojlovic) hasn't been sleeping. Offering to babysit, Rodney discards her usual bedtime stories in favour of some of his own. The ploy works a treat as Gabby is spellbound by Rodney's tales of 'Rollercoaster Rod' and his battles with arch-nemesis Derek Bollard.

Friday 20 June

Pollard (Chris Chittell) is thrilled to have the order ready on time but when the client wishes to renegotiate the price, Val (Charlie Hardwick) refuses to compromise and vetoes the deal. Pollard is left a broken man and collapses in tears, blurting out that he has an outstanding VAT bill of 30 grand. Figuring the truth about her loan to David, Val is furious and declares that the factory is a dead business. Will the newlyweds survive the first crisis of their marriage?

Elsewhere, Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) offers to test her mettle as a Dingle when Eli (Joseph Gilgun) needs volunteers to sell some cheap liquor. Confident she'll fail, Eli sends her off to the Woolpack where Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) seize upon Gennie's inexperience and offer to trade an 'expensive' juicer for the booze. Delighted to have sealed the deal, Gennie is greeted with cheers from her family, until Eli points out that the juicer formerly belonged to him until he sold the cheap apparatus to Marlon. Gennie is gutted, but will she ever be able to awaken her inner Dingle?

Also, Donna (Verity Rushworth) is thrilled with Marlon's (Mark Charnock) success on television and equally cheered when things return to normal with Ross (Samuel Anderson). As Ross and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) head out for a night on the pull, will his feelings for Donna get in the way?
