COCAINE-plagued star Jimmi Harkishin will deliver an onscreen message against taking drugs in a teenage party plot.
His character, shop owner Dev Alahan, will be seen demanding to know if his daughter Amber has gone off the rails.
Dev quizzes Molly Compton (Vicky Binns, 25), by asking: “So, go on then, give us the low-down – was there any partaking of illegal substances?”
And fans will watch as he strives to stop Amber (Nikki Patel, 17) turning into a wild child.
But for 42-year-old Jimmi, the scenes are a stark reminder of his 2004 cocaine disgrace.
A Corrie insider said: “Jimmi does not approve of drug-taking and in no way will these scenes make him feel uneasy.
“Dev is a good and strong father who would obviously be worried about his daughter.”
