Girls Aloud are reportedly in talks to host their own chatshow for the BBC.

The broadcaster has made the group an offer worth more than £500,000, claims Heat.

They will interview fellow celebrities in an eight-part special provisionally called An Audience With Girls Aloud.

A source said: "The girls are yet to sign, but they have all agreed to it. They would each be paid £20,000 per show. The band is going strong and they all want to commit to it 100%."

It was previously reported that band member Cheryl Cole had been approached to present a talkshow.

How in heaven's name can anybody chat to Nadine, you can't understand a word she says, with her american drawl on top of the northern Irish accent. Another one doesn't speak at all, is the BBC mad, they can't spend tax payers money like this.

What is the TV world coming to? There are too many chat shows on the box as it is.

If they're being £20k each per episode thats £100k and episode. Eight episodes = £800k, not £500k. Obviously somebody can't add up

A £300k discount? They're in it for the money, nobody would turn that amount down for easy work.
