Steve is arrested for GBHAirs on Sunday, June 8 2008 at 20:00 BST on ITV1

One-hour episode
It's the morning after the cellar prank and Steve is checking on Dan at the top of the cellar stairs. There is no reply and the light is off. Michelle comes in and demands to know what he is doing. Steve fobs her off with a rat story to stop her from going down the cellar, so she sets off to buy some rat poison.

Meanwhile, Ryan catches Steve shouting down the cellar to a very quiet Dan. Steve sets off down the cellar but finds Dan crumpled on the floor clearly not well.

An ambulance is called and he is rushed to hospital. He has an emergency operation for a haemorrhaged spleen. Once Dan wakes up, he tells Leanne and Harry that Steve knew he was injured. Steve is later arrested on suspicion of assault and unlawful imprisonment. Will Dan go through his severe revenge on Steve?

Jason is still avoiding Becky. When she asks what Jason is up to tonight, he makes up excuses saying he is going to Gail's to visit David and then to spend time with his mum. Becky jokingly says he can't escape him. Later, Jason rejects Becky's calls, unaware that she has cooked a nice meal for them both.

Out on the Street, she speaks to David who reveals that Jason has not even been round. When she eventually sees Jason, he tells her David seemed OK, Becky is clearly hurt. Will Jason ever be honest with Becky?

To his surprise, Jerry returns home from hospital to a full house including Teresa. Mel is clearly not happy with her presence and constantly drops hints about her leaving. Teresa manages to persuade Jerry to let her stop on the sofa, much to Mel's dismay. Will Mel soften to the idea of her mothers return?

Elsewhere, Vernon knows something is not right with Liz with her over enthusiastic behaviour; Gail and Audrey are still arguing over David's job; and Tina lands herself a job at the kebab shop.

Note that the next episode of Coronation Street is due to air on Wednesday (June 11) due to Euro 2008.

Later at the Rovers, Steve and Michelle row as she wants him to apologise to Dan again. The row escalates when Steve brings Michelle's ex into it, he ends up storming out saying he is going out for a drink. He meets up with Lloyd for drinks at the cab office before heading off to the kebab shop where a drunken Becky is wittering on to Mel.

The trio decide to head back to the café for more drinks and food. Once Lloyd leaves, Becky and Steve have a heart to heart about their relationships. As Steve is comforting Becky, the pair end up kissing passionately. Will they feel guilty about their actions in the morning?

Lloyd tells him he has been stupid as Steve begs him to cover for him. Steve eventually attempts to sneak back into the Rovers with a bunch of flowers. When Michelle sees him, she demands to know what's going on and reminds him that she can always tell when he has been lying. How will Steve get out of this one?

Becky is also feeling guilty about last night’s antics and when Michelle comes round to the café, she panics fussing over her order. An unhappy Roy has a word with Becky outside, clearly showing his disapproval.
