Cast members from Coronation Street have backed a PETA campaign to end the Queen's Guards' use of fur.
Soap stars including Anthony Cotton (Sean Tully), Sally Whittaker (Sally Webster), Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Brown) and Rob James-Collier (Liam Connor) have shown their support for the animal rights group by wearing fake-bearskin caps with PETA's "No Fur" logo.
The actors also signed a Save the Bears petition, which will be sent to the Ministry of Defence.
PETA's campaign is aimed at highlighting the cruelty involved in killing animals just for them to be used in the ceremonial caps.
