TALK about wedding disasters – here’s Emmerdale’s Val (Charlie Hardwick) being kidnapped on her big day.
Val’s hubby-to-be Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) has secretly organised their nuptials to coincide with the Village Pub Of The Year contest, to save cash.
So Val doesn’t know it’s her wedding day.
Picking up tablecloths for the pub contest from her shop, she gets accidentally knocked unconscious.
Scheming Eli (Joseph Gilgun) then abducts her and tries to claim a ransom – while the wedding guests wonder where she is.
The hour-long special airs on ITV1 on June 3 at 7pm
