Sally is still seething about Claire's criticism of the house and Kevin fears the worst as she decides to confront her. Claire is put on the spot when Sally gives her a piece of her mind and announces the deal is off. The two men know that their wives are cutting off their noses to spite their faces but it seems they can't persuade them to back down and Claire announces she is selling the house through an agent.
Paul realises that Molly has grassed him up to Jack who now wants an explanation about why he planned to do a runner. Paul says it is too late for him to change his ways but Jack is convinced the lad's got a good heart and goes to extreme measures to make him stay and take his punishment. Will Paul agree or is he more like his father than he'd care to admit?
Leanne has some prospective buyers who want to look round the show flat but she thinks that she and Dan can make better use of the apartment. She asks him to meet her there and they make the most of the swanky show flat's facilities - will they be caught out?
With Vernon still away, Liz is determined to show everyone, particularly Harry Mason, how committed she is to Vernon and her marriage and decides to make a public show of faith by having one of the wedding pictures out for everyone to see. But Michelle and Steve are a little surprised by the work she has had done to the picture - rendering Vernon almost unrecognisable.

Sally is miffed when she sees a 'For Sale' sign going up at the Peacocks' house. She's even more annoyed when she sees Claire showing two prospective buyers round. Claire, meanwhile, is convinced she's sold the house and not even Ashley's words of caution can dampen her delight at having got one over on Sally.
Gail tells Rita how delighted she was to find her dad after all this time and that she doesn't want to lose him again. Meanwhile, she has other problems to deal with when Tina tells her she has lost her job.
A teenage gang strike fear into the heart of the Street when a group of hoodies, led by Chesney's schoolmate Kenzie, target first Roy Cropper and then Norris.
Roy is wrestled to the ground by the gang when he hears them breaking a window, he manages to see them off but later they set their sites on the Kabin. As Rita and Emily linger over the lunch in the Kabin, Norris finds himself alone and besieged by the gang. The two women arrive back just in time to see the gang head out of the shop - what have they done to Norris?
Elsewhere, Chesney's behaviour is a cause of concern to Fiz; and Deirdre and Blanche start to wonder if Roger will ever finish the bathroom.
Tina's father turns up on the Street

Norris is still shaken by the robbery but is desperately trying to pretend that he is OK. News of the break in spreads round the street and Roy can't help but feel guilty that he didn't warn anyone about the gang earlier. Meanwhile, young Kayliegh Morton knows more about the identity of the thieves than she is letting on.
The robbery has far-reaching repercussions for the residents of the Street. A delighted Claire is celebrating the fact that she has sold the house to the young couple who came to view yesterday. But as she is seeing them out, Jerry comes rushing over with news of the Kabin robbery and the prospective buyers change their mind. Could this mean that the house swap will be back on?
Gail is worried about Tina now that she is out of a job and tells Audrey that things will improve when David is out of prison and back at work. But does Audrey plan to give him his job back? Meanwhile, Tina is pleased when her dad Joe arrives at the Platts' to see her.
Elsewhere, Fiz realises that Chesney is in love and Ken manages to delay the bathroom fitting even longer.
Jerry collapses with a heart attack

After the drama of the last few days, Norris is keen to install some security measures. Rita is not convinced that CCTV is necessary but there is no stopping Norris who is determined that big brother will be watching everything that goes on in the street.
It seems as though it will make for some very interesting viewing too as events take a dramatic turn. When Kenzie and his gang target Roy in the café, he sends them packing once more, but this time Darryl and Jerry hear what is going on and take chase.
But the effort is too much for Jerry who collapses in pain. Darryl continues with the chase but a concerned Roy insists Jerry take some time out in the Rovers to recover.
Despite insisting he is fine it is clear that Jerry is in a bad way. He manages to make it to the gents but collapses once more and the concerned regulars insist on calling for an ambulance. Darryl arrives just in time as his dad falls unconscious. Has Jerry paid the ultimate price for his heroics?
Chesney, meanwhile, picks the wrong moment to gather the courage to ask Kayleigh out - with her dad in hospital, and her guilt at knowing who put him there, the last thing she wants to talk about is dating Chesney.
Elsewhere, Deridre is stunned at the bill for the bathroom work and even more annoyed when Ken insists on paying it; and Tina visits David and tells him she fancies trying her hand at hairdressing.

The neighbours have rallied round and it is clear that Jerry is seen as something of a local hero. But Kayleigh thinks that the family need some more help and decides to call her mum. But when Teresa turns up at the hospital unannounced, it almost gives Jerry another heart attack.
Kirk tries to have a man to man talk with Chesney who is still mortified by his knock back from Kayleigh. It is clear the youngster has taken it hard and Fiz is worried about him - but is Kirk really the man for the job?
Becky and Jason are discussing their passionate evening the night before, unaware that every word is being overheard by Sean who takes great delight in telling Eileen and Marcus. They decide to wind him up about the chocolate body paint he was using - will Jason fall for the prank?
Roy, meanwhile, urges caution when Becky excitedly tells him that she and Jason are going on their fourth date and she's never been out with anyone that many times.
After a rocky start, Leanne and Michelle are getting along like a house on fire but the two men in their lives are like a pair of children as they argue about the best way to get to a local address. Eventually it becomes a competition with them betting who can get there first.

Teresa is still at Jerry's bedside despite his protestations that she is not welcome. Using emotional blackmail, she eventually manages to persuade him that the kids need her. Darryl and Mel are less than impressed, however, when she turns up at the kebab shop demanding the house keys. It isn't long before she reverts to type and proves she isn’t exactly Mother Teresa.
Steve and Dan are both determined to prove that their route is the fastest and as Michelle and Leanne look on pityingly, they jump into their cars and head off on the challenge. As a taxi firm owner, Steve feels his reputation is at risk and is determined to win. Initially both women are amused, but as the competition hots up, the dirty tricks start. Who will be the victor?
At the school play rehearsals, the teacher shocks the group by telling them that lead boy Kenzie has been arrested and the play will have to be cancelled. Sophie has come up with a better idea and points out that Chesney knows all Kenzie's lines. Chesney is delighted to be given the chance to prove himself but when it comes to the kissing scenes with Kayleigh, his bottle goes.
Becky is looking forward to her date with Jason but she is less than impressed when he turns up with Bill in tow - it isn't quite the night out she was expecting.
