Pop Goes The Band

Living is to screen a new six-part series in which legendary bands will be re-united to try to restore them to their former glories.

Made by ITV Productions, the sixty-minute reality shows - Pop Goes The Band - will feature bands as they undergo complete transformations, in some cases even cosmetic surgery, to face an audition with their new looks.

Details of the bands will be released shortly and the series is expected to debut in the summer.


Now this cold be very good or very sad - just depends on the bands involved.

They tried something likes this last year with acts from the 80's competing against each other and the winning act got their single re-released.

I doubt this will be a good programme, might tune into the first one to see what bands they have but it will be probably bands we barely know lol

interesting to see who the bands will be, though seems a bit deperate to resort to plastic surgery to get back on tv.

Doesn't surprise me either. Just the sort of program ITV would make.

At least it won't be on terrestrial or freeview.
