New 'Big Brother' eye revealed

The new Big Brother eye has been unveiled.

The logo for the upcoming ninth series - pictured right - features the familiar eye with a 'splintered' effect. In contrast to last year's multicoloured affair, the new eye is all black, with one fragment coloured red.

The new series kicks off on Channel 4 on Thursday, June 5.

Reminds me of the BB5 eye, let's hope this series is as good as that was. BB8 was very similiar to BB4, so it needs a good series to get it back on track.

I like the eye. I think the use of red and black could signify a rather evil series this year? ...last year was meant to be a "summer of fun" but I thought that failed miserably. The colours of the eye don't really suggest that for this year.
