Ok, does anyone else think he is a figment of Newt's imagination?

Have put this in spoilers, just in case anyone knows for sure.

I think that could be right because the other day when they were in the bar he was walking past people n it kept makin a whooshing sound when he did. I guess when Newt was younger he will have been lonely cos his parents were crap and had an imaginary friend.

yeah i was thinkin maybe he was newts friend in the home and then he died when he joined the army or something coz he said about being a deserter.

i think it is very much like fight club and we will discover at the end that he was in Newts imagination...isn't it strange that no one else ever sees him!

Im definitely starting to think he isn't real. I think it was him (Newt) who trashed the salon and got that bloke to trash the pub. I reckon its gonna turn out he's got some sort of mental health problem. Its a very strange storyline.

i never thought that but i am thinking it could be true now more and more there is definitly something weird going on with him. I cant work it out .

Thats genious Lie and Eli. Could be a possibility.

I was thinking that maybe Newt is schizophrenic, which would explain why only he 'sees' and 'hears' Eli, and Eli is the distructive trouble making side.

yeah also if eli trashed the salon after newt begged him not to do it why didnt newt report him after all hes AWOL? i think hes an imaginary friend funny how he didnt turn up when newts social worker was around and that he dissapears all day while newts at school. and that no one hears two voices and the amount of people in the pub.

I think eli is newt's alter ego and he defintiely has some sort of mental disorder.

:eek: Lauren seeing the tape and Eli disappearing at the end was kind of creepy! I'm sure Newt's got some kind of mental disorder now...Hope he gets help before he does something worse than he has already.

i think this is right...i guessed it last week.....

if you notice when newt is talking to eli he never actually looks at him....

it's going to be a good storyline....got to feel sorry for jack though, how many more things can they throw at him at once!
