Paul gives Leanne an ultimatum

Leanne is delighted to discover that the insurance company are issuing a cheque for nearly the full amount they requested and Dan suggests the sooner she gives Paul his share the better so they can all move on and start afresh.
However, Paul’s still bitter about how she duped him and when she hands over the cheque, he asserts it's no consolation for her manipulating and using him.
Angered and hurt, Paul suggests if she really wants to make amends with him, she should give him her share of the money. After all, he committed the crime so he deserves the money. Leanne’s shocked but Paul gives her an ultimatum - if he doesn’t get all the money, he’ll go to the police. What will Leanne do?
An upbeat Kirk returns from Cyprus and as Fiz awkwardly accepts an affectionate hug, he reveals he has something important he needs to talk to her about. Fiz is worried he’s going to suggest they get back together and puts off the chat until later.
She arrives home from work and bites the bullet, telling him she doesn't want to get back with him. Bemused, Kirk explains he wanted to tell her that he’s met someone on holiday and he's in love. Fiz is amazed and relieved as he tells her all about his holiday romance, Julie, who lives in Manchester!
Audrey has been distracted since hearing about Ted’s phone call and lies to an unconvinced Bill that she’s just worried about David. Later, in the café, she gives Rita the full history of her relationship with Ted.
It was a very turbulent time of her life and she used him, getting pregnant with Gail to force him into marriage and then changing her mind. She never loved him even though he was besotted with her. Audrey doesn’t know if she can open such an old can of worms, especially given Gail’s situation at present, but she is curious as to what he wants? Will she drag up the past?
Elsewhere, Jason and Becky both had a good time last night and arrange to go out again.
Paul calls the police to confess

Leanne is panicking about Paul’s threat to go to the police, while Dan tries to assure her the threat is empty and Paul would be mad to confess as he'd go down too. Despite Dan’s words of support, Leanne reasons Paul's lost everything and he's dangerous.
When Paul later arrives at the bookies and demands his money, she tries to talk him round, claiming he can do much better than her and they should just split the money and pretend this never happened.
Dan intervenes and calls his bluff, infuriating Paul, who takes out his phone and tells the police he’d like to confess to an arson attack, while Leanne and Dan are forced to stand and watch helplessly. Will they cough up before it’s too late?
Audrey has decided not to do anything about Ted and goes to visit David with Gail, determined to stay positive for David's sake. As the three of them chat and struggle to maintain a veneer of normality, David apologises again for everything he's done - being in the young offenders' institute has made him realise that unlike most of the boys in there, he has had a good upbringing and there’s no excusing what he's done - he's a criminal and he deserves to be there. Will prison change David?
Meanwhile, Kirk questions if Fiz is going to be in the pub later as he was thinking of taking Julie for a drink. Eager to meet her, Fiz assures it's fine. As Kirk introduces Julie, it becomes apparent that they’re a good match, everyone does their best to make her feel welcome, while Fiz assures her she’s got a good bloke in Kirky. Does Julie's arrival mean the end to the tension between Kirk and Fiz?
After listening to Maria complain about how she feels ugly now she's put some weight on, Liam returns from town and presents a delighted Maria with a designer maternity dress.
Elsewhere, Vernon is worried about telling Liz when he loses all his money after placing all his winnings on a dud horse. Also, Chesney is gutted when he doesn't get the main part in the school play.
Becky and Jason re-kindle their romance

Paul heads off to the police station, while Dan and Leanne start to realise how much trouble they could be in. As Paul returns and tells them he's given his statement, he had nothing left to lose and the police will be contacting them, they're seriously worried.
Meanwhile, Paul returns to No. 9 and confesses everything to Jack, Tyrone and Molly who’re all disgusted. Jack is furious and angrily tells him he's a disgrace - he's done nothing but lie and cheat since he showed up. He’s bitterly disappointed and doesn’t want to hear his excuses, stating he hoped Paul would never turn into Terry. Will Jack ever forgive his grandson? Will Leanne manage to get herself out of this situation?
Maria offers to drive to Carla’s dinner party seeing as she can't drink anyway. Liam offers to stay off the booze too, but when they arrive and Liam explains he’s on water, Maria senses his words are half-hearted and tells Carla to get him a beer.
As the dinner party draws to an end, Maria's tired and decides to leave, telling Liam he can stay for a few drinks. Carla promises to put him in a cab later, however, it’s clear Maria was merely being polite and would rather Liam came home with her. When the taxi arrives to collect him, Carla sends it away, leaving Liam fast asleep on her sofa. How will Maria feel when she finds out her husband has spent the night at Carla's?
After a few drinks in the Rovers, Jason and Becky go back to the Grimshaws'. However, Becky's hesitant and reminds him what happened last time they got together. Jason claims things will be different now but she wants to take things slowly and reckons she’d better leave. However, moments after she exits, Jason's surprised when there's a knock at the door and he finds Becky on the doorstep who, after having a change of heart, jumps on him. Is this the start of a new romance on the street?
Elsewhere, Rita enters the salon to see if Audrey has called Ted. Audrey isn’t sure what she would say but egged on by Rita, she finally plucks up the nerve to call him and leaves a message. Ted calls her back and they arrange to meet up. How will Bill and Gail feel if they discover Audrey's secret liaison?
Vernon attempts to stop Liz from finding out about his gambling loss by diverting her attention with the offer of a cruise for three weeks - he's got a job drumming on one of the ships and has got her a ticket. Steve doesn’t envy Liz being stuck on a boat with Vernon and it's clear that Liz is feeling exactly the same. How will she break it to him?
